Personality: She tends to be determined to get the job done. Due to her deep voice, she is often mistaken as a man (which is a good thing, since she is pretending to be one). Only Shoichi knows who she really is, and keeps her identity a secret. She is caring and hardworking, doing her best to move up to a higher rank like her friend Shoichi.
History: To have a better chance of getting into the Black Ram Division, she cut her hair short to disguise herself as a man.

Personality: He appears to be a well-spoken individual, but he uses his developed language to sometimes pick on people for their weaknesses. Although he may appear cool and suave, he hides a darker personality that is revealed while in battle.
History: Shoichi was a former athlete, and he is using his built body and skills to kill the Titans. His brother was eaten by a Titan.

Saki wrapped her chest with protective taping in order to keep herself hidden about being a woman. She cleared her throat, smiling at the mirror in front of her as she slipped the rest of her uniform on. The emblem of the Black Ram was emblazoned along it, and she was proud to represent the division. It's the first day today. I can't wait to see Shoichi-san today, she thought, walking out to find the captain and deputy.

Shoichi adjusted his glasses, shining his boots on the corner of the street. "I have to look for Captain Adler," he said to himself, brushing dust off of his boots before rushing off to find his captain.

Saki's eyes brightened as she saw the captain and his brother sitting down, and she rushed over to them. Making sure her movements didn't appear to look like a woman's, she instead strode over to them. "Hello, Captain Adler, Kane," she said, her voice now monotone. "Have you two seen Deputy Imayoshi anywhere?"

Shoichi was busy looking around for Saki and the Captain, wondering where they could be. Being on the other side of town, he thought that maybe they could be at headquarters. Might as well start going over there, he thought, running towards the direction of headquarters.

Saki smiled at her fellow scout, then turned to face Dan. "That's not good. I wanted to greet him before we separate and start our mission," she said, looking around the area. "He might be at home getting ready."

Using his former skills as an athlete, Shoichi sprinted down the town streets, dodging people holding food and other items. I'm almost there! he thought, turning a corner.

Saki chuckled lightly. "At the meeting a few days ago, I thought I heard about a mission involving seeking the terrain around the walls," she said. "Didn't you hear about it, Captain?"

Shoichi sighed in relief as he saw that the headquarters building was in his line of his vision. He rushed over to the building, seeing Kane, Dan, and Saki in the distance.

Saki opened her mouth to tell Dan what was going on, and she was interrupted as she saw Shoichi. "Shoichi-san!" she said, calling him by his informal name instead of by "Deputy". She was greeted by Shoichi hugging her, and she grinned. "Hey, man, good to see you!"

Shoichi rubbed Saki's back in a friendly manner, letting go of the short embrace. "I finally found you guys!" he said, out of breath from his sprint all the way across from town. "So, what's going on today? Do we have something planned?"

Saki nodded. "Yeah. The mission was to patrol the walls for any threatening Titans and other barbarians like that," she said. "They said something like that at the meeting three days ago."

Shoichi scratched his head. "Oh yeah, almost forgot about it," he said. "I should have notified everyone beforehand," he said, putting a hand to his head.

Saki raised an eyebrow at Dan. Although he was assigned to be captain, Captain Adler seems more like a good friend than a leader, she thought with a slight smirk. "Well, you never know," she replied. "The Titans aren't as weak as we think they are."

Shoichi looked over at Kane. He seems somewhat relieved, he thought, smiling at the scout. "I wonder when we have to start getting ready to head over to the wall," he said to the group.

Saki nodded in agreement. That's true. Those Titans aren't that strong... The wall has been safe for over a hundred years! she thought, looking at the wall over in the distance.

Shoichi adjusted his glasses and nodded. "Yeah, you're right," he said. "I just want to go back home and sleep." Stifling a yawn, he stretched his arms. "Let's get going. Captain, go and lead the way."

Saki gulped as she heard the comment that Dan made, and she sighed in relief as she realized that the Captain was only making a joke. Good, only Shoichi-san knows about me, she said to herself, quickly dashing after Dan.

Shoichi watched Kane before dashing off as well, checking his gas levels and if his extra blades were equipped. The scout has got more brains that I do, he thought with a chuckle, following behind Saki.
