    Lavapaw dipped his head respectfully, his eyes bright and excited. He was finally an apprentice! The red tabby tom padded over to touch his nose to Petalfrost's, his paws jittery.

    Petalfrost padded closer to her apprentice, glad to be out of the large crowd. There were just too many cats around for the ceremonies. It bothered her. She can sense his excitement and the she-cat touched noses with her new apprentice. She was very young, and it surprised her to be getting an apprentice.
