    Brightpaw managed to cross without making himself look like a fool in front of anyone. Brightpaw paused as he finished crossing, looking back at Pepperstrike.

    IC: Pepperstrike hopped on each stone and slipped on the last stone, but still managed to land on the snowy grass. She sniffed the air.

    Brightpaw opened his mouth, scenting the air. he close his mismatched eye for a second, to just listen and scent for a second.

    IC: After scenting the air, she noticed scuffling in some bushes by a tree. In one giant leap, she jumped to the bottom branch, saw the vole, and pounced on it, killing it will a swift bite.

    "Good catch." Brightpaw commented quietly so he didn't scare the prey. Brightpawscented the air and began to follow the scent trail of a water vole. Brightpaw found it, and fell into a hunting crouch. He stalked it quietly, and then pounced on it. He bit it's neck, ending it's life.

    IC: "Thanks", she muttered gratefully. "Good catch", replying to him. Good start so far, both have made a kill.

    She smiled back and scented the air again. She scented a mouse and a rabbit.

    Brightpaw was feeling positive today so as he scented the rabbit, He went for it. Unluckily for him, He wasn't as fast as a windclan cat, and the rabbit got away. "Mousedung!" he exclaimed as the prey got away.

    IC: "You will get the next one " she said. She chased after the mouse and was a tail length. away, something crashed into her. After hitting the ground with a thud, she turned to see what collided with her. She turned to see a Fox, a young one at that. She kicked the fox with her paws, and it jumped back snarling. So much for everything going great see thought

    Brightpaw had went to follow another trail, before he tensed, hearing the crash. Brightpaw ran towards the noise to see what the matter was. "Pepperstrike?" He sounded concerned in his tone of voice as he ran towards her. { Just Great. } He thought as he saw the fox.

    IC: This shouldn't be that hard, he looks small. She jumped up and flung herself on top of the fox clawing at his back.

    Brightpaw wasn't afriad, well, maybe a little. "Hey Foxdung!" He swiped at it to distract it from Pepperstrike. He was fast enough to keep it busy while she did the real damage. Brightpaw nipped at the fox's heels. "Too slow?"

    IC: While the fox was distracted with Brightpaw, she jumped off steadied herself and flung herself at the fox tackling it into the tree. The fox didn't move. It appeared that the impact broke its back and killed it instantly. She looked over at Brightpaw. "You alright?" Figures I say everything is going well and shit happens

    Brightpaw teased the fox as Pepperstrike delivered a killing blow to the fox. "Yeah, I think so." Brightpaw said, before moving. When he moved, is leg shot pain through him and he gritted his teeth. "Maybe not. Are you?"

    IC: "I'm fine, whats wrong?", she noticed him stiffen when he moved. She walked over concerned.

    IC: She could tell that it hurt more than he was showing. "Are you sure you can walk?" she mewed

    "Yeah." Brightpaw said. "I can." Brightpaw forced himself to get up despit how much it hurt. { Don't show weakness. } His father's words echoed in his head.
