Cat's Name: Featherstep
Cat's Age: 8 Seasons
Gender: She-Cat
Alliance: Loner
Position: Loner
Appearance:
An incredibly small she-cat, Featherstep has a dark gray pelt with medium to long fur. Her eyes are light blue, and she has no marking of any kind on her pelt except for a thin scar along the inside of her throat. This scar distorts her voice a little, making what was once a silky purr a hoarser meow. Her long fur is always kept silky smooth, and she works long hours to get out brambles. Her long legs allow her to run swiftly when on a prey-stealing mission.
Personality:
Featherstep is a rambunctious cat, who sombers only when given instructions by her leader. She is anti-clan, and feels no remorse for her actions against what she considers killers. She takes pride in the work that she does, and practices to make her stealing more efficient. She once struggled with a negative self image due to her minute size, but has since realized that it makes her a better prey stealer. She still struggles with the wind, which is merciless, and although she does not believe in StarClan, she is highly superstitious, and believes she is cursed by a wind demon. She is not an avid fighter because her size puts her at an automatic disadvantage, but she tries as fiercely as any other cat.She is often shy in first encounters, but once she knows a cat, she is highly outgoing and hyper. Her "audacity" occasionally gets her into trouble with the rest of the Shadows of Midnight (miniplot).
History:
FeatherStep was born to a Loner named Hawksong in a litter of four. Her mother raised her and the other kits to live on the scraps of the Clans, never "stealing" but always waiting for a rabbit or mouse to scurry along the border. It was a hard life. When Featherstep was about four seasons old, she and her family were along the border between WindClan and highstones, chasing a rabbit when it crossed the border. Hawksong pursued, along with her youngsters, and right as she killed the rabbit, a WindClan patrol appeared from further out in the moorland. They refused to listen to Hawksong's plea that they needed only some food, and attacked. There was a fierce fight, and Hawksong and Featherstep's family were killed. Featherstep recieved a gash to the throat, which, although it was not deep enough to kill, knocked her unconcious. The patrol buried her mother, but were too lazy to bury the others, instead leaving them for carrion on the other side of the border. Featherstep came to several hours later, and ran off. Another Loner by the name of Gaius, who had some knowledge of herb lore managed to heal her throat, but they were seperated shortly thereafter during a storm. When Featherstep found The Shadows of Midnight, she signed on immediatly, anxious to belong again, and to prove herself against the Clans.
Roleplay Sample:
*
Comments/Other:
