Dustypaw yawned awake and pricked his ears. He padded out of the apprentices den and sat down. Mousekit blinked awake and glanced over at his sleeping sister. Tawnykit slept peacefully

Shimmertail got up '' Dustypaw! Wanna go out for hunting?'' she asked

Timberstar looked for Icepaw, his apprentice. As he waited he grabbed a frog from the fresh-kill pile and settled down to eat.

"Sure!" Dustypaw meowed smiling cheerfully.

Icepaw poked her head out of the apprentice den, ready to train.

Timberstar finished when he spotted Icepaw. "Grab something to eat before we go battle training." he called to her.

'' Let's go.'' She said, walking towards the camp entrance.

Icepaw wasn't hungry. "I'm not hungry." She mewed

Timberstar nodded. "Alright. Follow me then." he said, leading the way from camp.

Timberstar padded into the mossy clearing. He turned to Icepaw. "Today we'll learn a good attack move to use on a badger attack." he said.

"Eep!" Icepaw scrambled up a tree

Timberstar looked up curiously at Icepaw. "What's wrong?" he asked.

"B - b - b - badger?" She chattered her teeth

"Hmmmm...we'll need to work on your confidence..." Timberstar murmured to himself. "No badgers icepaw, you can come down." he said.

Dustypaw followed Shimmertail. He pricked his ears as he walked. Mousekit sat up and padded out of the nursery. Tawnykit blinked awake and stretched.
