IC; Toconny was still padding around the forest, sniffing for some prey. He caught sight of a rabbit. He darted forward, chasing the rabbit. He panted as he ran. He reached the rabbit, then leaped, landing on the rabbit, sinking his teeth in the neck of his prey. The rabbit went limp, and Toconny carried it back to his pack.
Kate walked back to the pack, frowning. She waited until the Alpha set up a hunting party or border patrol.
Kayla turned her gaze towards Kate. "Hi!" Her light feminine voice was friendly and warm despite the cold breeze that chased the leaves about the camp.

" Hi Kayla ". Kate said not smiling at all. Her green eyes began to fill with water, her tears look like shiny diamonds or even twinkling stars. As they fell to her cheeks, she padded off in the den so no one will notice her tears.

"Hey wait!" Kayla called out to the she-wolf as she walked away. She knew something was wrong with Katie. The medicine wolf bounded after her packmate. "What's up?" She said softly as she moved to the left of Katie and brushed her white pelt against the upset wolf.

" Nothing ". Kate replied to the she-wolf. Her tail stick up, she started heading out the den and to the forest. Her eyes were full of sadness, killing Innocent pups was not her option. But the Alpha makes the rules, so it must be done. Kate stopped in her tracks, before going any further she decided to talk to Warren. " Warren". The she-wolf asked for the Alpha.
And zee pups are born!
Warren came to a halt as he was running back to camp to check on his pack. The night sky hung above the forest. "Yes Katie." He said as he stood in a dominant position with his head and tail held high.
Kayla pinned her ears back in sadness as she watched Katie leave the camp. She slowly turned and headed to the Healer's den to try and get some sleep.

Kate looked at Warren. " Why kill the pups? ". She said looking at Warren, deep in the eyes. She then heard the howl, she knew the pups were born. Her heart was crush, she hope the pack didnt find the pups.
Warren pinned his ears back and his bold eyes averted to the ground. "A wolf who is not an Alpha cannot have pups or a mate. Especially from another pack." He knew this was unfair. He looked back at Kate. He felt sad and heart-broken again as he remembered his mate who had gone missing. This had left him mateless and the pack without an Alpha Female. He knew he needed a mate as the pack needed new life and new blood to continue roaming the forest and The Plains. "Both me and Kipcha have agreed on the punishment and no more can be done for a wolf who has broken pack law." The only thing that he could justify the punishment with was the law and the following punishment of if it was broken itself. It had been law since the pack had been formed by Alphas before Warren including Warren's own parents. It was what he knew and he was obliged to follow it for the good of the pack.
Shadow climbed into the new territory, she found a good den but little did she know that she was five minutes away from the mountain pack camp. The pups started whining and yelping and she tried to quiet them.

Shadow whined and fed her pups, she was still on the lookout, this den was pretty hidden, Shade told her about it.
Kate looked at Warren, heart broken. " i-i understand ". She nodded and greeted the other she-wolf. She tried to hold back tears, they found the pups and now the punishment must be made. Kate bit her tongue, she was about to say something, but decided not to speak.
Warren pricked his ears and blinked in surprise at Aelea. He had thought he had heard something like that too. Then he turned and nodded to Katie. Twisting back to Aelea he tried to focus his mind on what she had just said. She's so beautiful... He thought. Then he realised what he was thinking about and that she was waiting for him to reply as the Alpha he was. "umm..yeah..sorry." He mumbled.
He listened for the sound of pups. Yes. He could hear it. It was so close too. "Shadow is in Kipcha's pack though..." He barked thoughtfully as he tried to pick up a scent and a direction by sound and smell.
