Erin tilted her head towards him a smiled. Looking at him gently she murmured very quietly to him, "So, Xavier, how'd I do?" Chuckling, her gaze drifted to his eyes and a happy smile spread over her lips. "It's been awhile since I've done this sort of thing, so I hope it's fine."

IC: He looked at her and finished what he was eating before talking.
"Erin it's brilliant, much better than mine" he smiled as he leaned closer and told her very quietly in turn before turning back to his food and eating it again.
He smiled at Erin and looked at Shepard as his head poped up inbetween them.
"Hay bud" he smiled as he patted him on the head before watching him pad off to the door and lying down and giving a huge yawn and settleing down to nap.
He smiled at Erin and carried on eating after.

Erin smiled at his words. "Thank you very much, their family recipes. I can teach you them sometime if you want."
She blushed a light blush as he leaned closer, and after he continued eating she watched him for a second. Smiling, she turned back to her food and ate.
Erin was quiet for a little while, but then she leaned in a quietly murmured, "Hey Xavier, I work at a music store downtown. You know, I was wondering if you wanted to check it out tomorrow, it's where I spend a lot of my time and I wanted to share it with you."

Erin smiled at him, a twinkle in her eyes. It had been awhile since she'd met someone she was comfortable around that was outside of her small family.
After a few minutes Erin pushed her plate away gently. "I'll be right back, I'm getting a bit warm," as she said this, she smiled apologetically at everyone around them table. Getting up, she went out the front door and let out a sigh. She indeed was warm, but she needed a moment to gather her jumbled thoughts.

Erin leaned against the door for a minute or two before she shook herself out, ready to go back in. She came back inside, and her cheeks, arms, and legs were red from the cold. Coming back to the kitchen, she gave everyone a small smile before sitting back down. Everyone continued their chatter, so Erin leaned towards Xavier. "Sorry about that," she murmured in his ear.

"Their not as bad as my family their more normal than my siblings in one room with me" he smiled as he looked at the door to see a tired shepard padding over to his feet.
He patted him and stroked him as he lay down and drifted off to sleep again.
"He's more tired than anything, we should get going soon i can't have him sleeping to late" he said as he looked at shepard then at Erin.
