  • Cragpaw took enough steps forward to rest his tail comfortingly on the leader's shoulder. He wasn't sure if he was allowed to do this, to trespass on the personal time of a cat of higher authority, but who would be against it? She was a cat, after all, and her place didn't matter right now. "Snowpaw's in a better place now, one with more trees and no two-legs," he meowed, staring down at Snowstar. "It's okay, we all need a good cry now and again. Let it all out now, so you can be strong for tomorrow. Snowpaw would want you to be happy, not sorry or sorrowful." He bit back his own sympathy, and wondered if he'd be able to say these words if he was in her position- if he'd lost Jagpaw. The thought of losing his brother made his chest tightened, but he forced the emotion aside, and focused on Snowstar. "She's in StarClan's paws, now."

  • Snowstar smiled. "Thank you, Cragpaw." She replied, licking tue apprentice's cheek lightly. "You make me better." She said getting up as her eyes teared up when she looked up to see Snowpaw's face. Smiling. "Cragpaw... I know I'm not suppose to say this but... Snowpaw really likes you," she said. "But now that she gone... You never got to figure her out." She continued sniffling. Snowstar started walking, "C'mon I need to talk to Silverhawk..." Snowstar ordered.

  • Cragpaw flinched at the news, and a sudden wave of bashfulness washed over him. His cheeks reddened underneath his coat and his mind buzzed lightly. She liked me? He wondered, awed as to how he couldn't have noticed. His head lowered, and he studied his paws. But she's gone now... Poor thing, she had her whole life ahead of her, too. He looked at Snowstar and nodded, padding after her and falling into place abreast of the leader. I wonder why she wants to talk to Silverhawk, the apprentice thought, feeling a pang of wonder to the question if, perhaps, he was involved somehow in the death of Snowpaw. They were, after all, assigned to the same job, and nonetheless together when it happened. Was he guilty for something?

  • Snowstar padded to Silverhawk and rubbed against him in surprised. "We must go," She said warning the twolegs getting closer. She then headed to the crowd of cats walking to the head of the line. She waited for Silverhawk and the two brother apprentices as the wind blew harder. She made sure everyone was safe. The elders were tired already, from the snow pounding on them all day while Snowstar was crying. She felt guilty, hopefully Silverhawk and Jagpaw hurry.

  • Silverhawk was surprised by her sudden burst of affection, and felt hope flutter inside his chest like a caged bird. Perhaps she'd forgiven him for the loss of her sister? He nodded and picked up the pace, Jagpaw doing his best to match the warrior's gait. Cragpaw pulled back to help as well, and together, the three toms moved forward with the speed of a single cat not burdened with the weight of a fallen feline. The crashing sound grew closer, and Silverhawk called passed the fur to Snowstar, "We have to hurry!"

  • She nodded and lead the cats out of they're old clan. She was glad they were going, but both sad to see the old clan of the history of this clan go. She then felt a sudden warm spot on her heart. She sighed, hoping it'll go away soon. She didn't want to seem weak to her clan. She made sure everyone was following, includin. The kits (sorry the word 'including' didn't let me say 'the kits' so i had to put a period -_-). By the time the last tree has fell, they were gone. We are lucky... She thought. Hopefully we stay lucky. She thought again, shaking the snow off her fur.

  • The three had paused to reposition themselves, placing Snowpaw over Silverhawk's shoulders and having the brothers support him on either side. This improved their speed, and soon the crunch and crash of trees behind them faded away. Silverhawk glanced over his shoulder, passed the fur, to see their old land disappearing from view, and let his ears fall. It was good to us, eh thought, before looking down at the two apprentices abreast of him. "New futures for us, eh?" he said, trying to cheer the two up from their state of quietness. Even Cragpaw seemed troubled, but the young tom brightened at his words. "And new horizons to discover!" He added with his usual cheerfulness.

  • After a while of walking, Snowstar finally saw the last snow fall then stop. The elders happily cheered when Snowstar stopped, she looked at a small place. She saw lots of den and unwanted kits. "Huh?!" She said. She sniffed the area, seeing if it's safe. "Silverhawk can you go check with me?" She asked. "I wanna know if this is a trick or not. It seems this 'old' clan territory left a few kits." She said again unsure of this problem.

  • Silverhawk nodded, and crouched to let the brothers pull Snowpaw off his shoulders. He rolled his shoulders to get used to the feeling of lifted weight, before prowling forward to stand beside Snowstar. His green-yellow eyes searched the kits, and he raised a brow suspiciously. "Strange..." he murmured, narrowing his eyes. "What kind of Clan would want to leave their kits behind like this?" he looked at Snowstar, an ear twitching.

  • "I don't know but I can tell it's a sick clan..." She looked at a dead one, it looked like Snowpaw. She teared up as she looked back at Snowpaw's body. She walked away from the kits to dry her tears. Then she came back. They were calico kits, cute and fluffy but very skinny. Snowstar licked the snow off the kits as it became nicer. The sun was out and the snow glittered, even Snowstar's did. The calico kits squealed with happiness. "We can pick this territory since no clan is here. Silverhawk make sure the elders get in a nice big den." Snowstar ordered as she picked one of the kits up. (There are 3 kits)

  • Silverhawk nodded and hurried away to fulfill the duty. Jagpaw stepped aside to let him take the elders, and joined the warriors as they explored the camp. Cragpaw padded over, purring at the sight of the kits. "They're so cute!" He claimed, lowering to meet the gaze of one of them. "Hi there, little guy!" He chuckled cheerfully.

  • The kit hissed furiously at the bigger tom kit, protecting his two sisters. The two small twins (One of the kits Snowstar got off) rubbed against Cragpaw purring with delight when he called (they thought) them 'cute'. The small tom watched as he eyed Cragpaw. Snowstar chuckled slightly, "That's cute. It's like he's protecting.. his sisters..." She stopped realizing the time when her brother died; leaving Snowstar to promise to take care of Snowpaw as long as she can. She sighed, making a big puff of white smoke.

  • "They're as close as me and Jagpaw!" Cragpaw said, straightening to a standing position. "The tom-kit's like him, always protecting me from whatever comes our way." He gave a light laugh before looking down at the she-kit who'd rubbed against him, and nuzzle her head with his nose. "I wonder what wiped out their Clan... hey, what are your names anyways?"

  • The kits looked at him. The first female apprentice smiled happily and shyly, "Lillypaw." (Yeah I know I called them kits but I thought it over XD) The next apprentice replied, blushing deeply. "Fallenpaw. She replied, tripping on a rock. The last kit, the stronger tom apprentice then said, "Tigerpaw." He muttered. Snowstar nodded, "Since there's a high rock I will announce the new apprentices in our clan..." She mumbled. "If they can pass the test of the rules they will stay. If not, we have to train them then let them go alone."

  • ((Let's just say they had a growth-sprout XD))

Cragpaw nodded. "Sounds good- welcome to the Clan, Lillypaw, Tigerpaw, and Fallenpaw. I'll show you to the other apprentice, my brother, Jagpaw, and then he'll show us where we'll be staying." He glanced over his shoulder, only guessing the older tom had found a den for them, before turning to the three and adding sadly, "We recently lost one of our friends, Snowpaw, to a falling tree, so there's only two of us now, but with the three of you, the Clan will recover much more quickly." He looked at Lilypaw and smiled, before beckoning with his tail and bounding away, calling, "Follow me!"

  • Lilypaw, Fallenpaw and Tiger bounded behind him, as Snowstar watched closely. Snowstar sat down looking at the dead kit. Snowstar grabbed the kit's neck and headed off to the woods. She buried the kit's lifeless body and cover it with dirt, then snow. Snowstar sighed "What if... When or if I get a mate this will happen?" She whispered. She walked back to the clan saddend. She saw a big den near a high rock. She walked towards it, fulfilly her duty of being a leader. She laid down, tired.

  • "Jagpaw, come here a second, will you? We have new cats!" The larger tabby's head lifted at his brother's voice, and he turned to see Cragpaw bouncing toward him with three cats trailing behind. He flicked an ear, eyes narrowed a bit. "Those are the kits, aren't they?" He asked. The apprentice nodded, introducing them individually and pointing with his tail, before saying, "They'll be training with us from now on. Have you found the new apprentices den?" He peered passed Jagpaw, at the small entrance behind him, and turned his ears to listen. "I think this'll do fine, it's bi enough to fit all of us, and a couple more, too."

Silverhawk spotted Snowstar, and felt obliged to see what was bothering her- if he did not already know. He leapt up the rocks to where her den resided before poking his head into the den, meowing with dull cheeriness, "You look down."

  • Tigerpaw didn't respond to anything, he just kept close to Lilypaw and Fallenpaw. Lilypaw blushed deeply when Cragpaw lend the way to Jagpaw and Fallenpaw blushed hard too. Seeing the two cute males. They ignored Tigerpaw even if he's been protecting them. Fallenpaw giggled and rubbed against Jagpaw and so did Cragpaw. "Thank you so much for the help!~" Lilypaw giggled, "Thank you!" Tigerpaw mumbled, 'thank you' but he didn't say it loud enough.
Snowstar lashed her tail around, she huffed slightly. "A bit." She replied. "Instead of three apprentices... There were four. That kit died." She teared up, "The kit looked like Snowpaw..." she hesitated when a tear fell to the floor. She clawed it away and wiped her tears. "Tigerkit... the stronger sibling was protecting his sisters... Just like my brother... And well, he died from a badgers." She continued, tearing up some more but she wiped it off quickly.

  • Cragpaw seemed pleased by Lilypaw's closeness, and he purred delightedly at her touch, while Jagpaw tried to hide his enflamed cheeks with his bothered expression. He glanced at the trio, gaze switching from one to the other, and meowed, "How old are you guys, anyway?"

Silverhawk looked at her, eyes flashing with pity and sorrow. "You're brother must have been a great cat," he murmured, looking at his paws. He laid his tail comfortingly on her shoulders. "My sister and I were never close, save the fact she's still alive, so I wouldn't know what it's like to lose a sibling, but I'm sure that, as crushed as you may be, you're brother and sister wouldn't want you to grieve for them to long." He smiled, although he was unsure of his words. "They're in better places, roam fresher lands, and watch over you from above. You can rest now, knowing that no more danger will befall them."

  • "We're triplets." Tigerpaw said. Lilypaw rolled her eyes, "Meaning we're all six moons." She said, and then- "Yeah! We're turning 7 moons in one moon." Fallenpaw said. Fallenpaw rubbed again Jagpaw some more wrapping her tail on his neck before unwrapping off. Tigerpaw huffed "Stop flirting," He muttered. Lilypaw rolled her eyes again, "Whatever." She said.

Snowstar couldn't stop crying, "I'm trying not to be such a kit." She said smiling. "Sorry for the crying it's just...-" she hesitated. She looked at Silverhawk stuck. She looked at his face, blushing deeply. She felt her ears burn. She looked down, feeling her heart warm up. She shook her head "Ummm..." Her ears went down trying to build up her confidence.
