It was an ordinary day, but not for long.
The cheetah Viceroy had remember vaguely that Louvreat had a heart attack when Russianroulette died, leaving her paralyzed, but not it was going to happen to her to, which could only mean one thing.
Hspitalflowers was in trouble.
Cordelia wouldn't go out and look for her, because she began to shake, and wheeze, as all her thoughts began to race past her, she was breathing heavily, and for a few heartbeats she couldn't breathe at all. After her disconnection with her sister, she was left there, unmoving, still breathing, but she was frozen, in shock. And paralyzed.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px;]"someone get a medicine cat!" gateway called out, staring at the body helplessly. as he had no idea what to do other than that. he probably wasn't helping much though, if she was still alive.

Sleeplesseatle stared at the cold body of her fellow Viceroy in shock. She scrambled to her paws and instead of commanding cats she followed orders, going to fetch the Shaman as quickly as fuckin' possible. -
Everything seemed to be moving much slower, and everything was faded and echoed to her, she couldn't reply to everything, even if she tried. But She would be fine, right? She had an extra life.

"Cordelia!"
Noirstar gasped, racing over to the female's side. He had been munching down on a petite-looking vole when, to his surprise, he caught sight of .. whatever was happening to the cheetah Viceroy. His eyes were wide and panicked as he approached. While the symptoms the female experienced were entirely alien to the tom, he knew one thing:
This wasn't good. -
Dacnomaniacalpaw frowned down at the unmoving body of Cordelia as she approached, flicking her bushy tail. Okay, so, what had happened? She didn't see any signs of injury on the Viceroy, so what had made her collapse to the ground? She was still alive, since Noma saw her chest moving--just barely, but moving--she each inhale and exhale. But the rest of her stood completely still.

[fancypost bgcolor=transparent; bordercolor=transparent; width: 425px; height: 150px; overflow: auto; padding: 4px; font: 10px georgia; color: black; text-align: left;]There wasn't actually too much Akhenaten could do about a heart attack with his knowledge of medicine. He had learnt the procedure of what he could do though, as humans had much better equipment when dealing this type of situation."Move! Give her space!" Akhenaten yelled, having been alerted by Sleepless to the situation. From what he had understood from the female, Cordelia was having some kind of heart attack or seizure. Chammomile and some calming herbs was what he knew to bring, the former because it strengthened the heart, whatever that meant. Oh and licorice root because that helped stop blood clots. {There's actually a lot that do that :P}
The lynx gently rolled the cheetah onto her side, rearranging her limbs into the recovery position. A quick check of pulse told him that the heart was still beating, and judging from the slight rise and fall from her chest, Cordelia was breathing too. That meant he wouldn't need to follow up with CPR.
"Cordelia? Can you hear me? Do you understand?" He interrogated the cheetah, trying to figure out exactly what state of mind and body she was in right at that moment. Would he have to force feed her, or was she able to do that on her own?[/fancypost]
-
Being paralyzed from her chin and down wasn't fun, she couldn't move, and her speech came out in a muffled voice, like as if someone was almost holding a scarf up to her mouth. Her copper eyes looked at Akhenaten blankly, her frown plastered on her face.
"Akhen-- Akhenat--en?" She muffled.

[fancypost bgcolor=transparent; bordercolor=transparent; width: 425px; height: 150px; overflow: auto; padding: 4px; font: 10px georgia; color: black; text-align: left;]Wait, why was Cordelia sounding like that? That was so weird it was as if her mouth couldn't... Realization hit the Shaman.Oh no.
She wasn't paralysed was she?
"Cordelia. You must tell me when and if you start to stop feeling my paws." The lynx ordered, his voice remarkably calm for the panic he was feeling inside. He couldn't help paralysis. He had no idea what to do with it. Would the cheetah's body ever regain full movement? He doubted it.
At least Cordelia had multiple possessions and she wouldn't be stuck in the one body. She could use other bodies when needed to help her clan in times of war and such.
He began by patting her face and gradually traveling down her body - her back for courtesy. [/fancypost]

The cheetah waited soundly. "Okay, I can move everything but my legs."

[fancypost bgcolor=transparent; bordercolor=transparent; width: 425px; height: 150px; overflow: auto; padding: 4px; font: 10px georgia; color: black; text-align: left;]"Ok. It's likely that you are paralyzed down there then." Akhenaten answered, biting his lip. Pausing to let this news sink in, the lynx went on to break some of the other bad news."I think you've had a heart attack." Which was curious because Cordelia was still quite young considering. You were supposed to have heart attacks when you were older. Not when you were a young adult.
"I can't treat your paralysis, however I believe these herbs will help you to get over the brunt of the shock and pain of this... incident, and it will clear any clotting of blood that may have caused the heart attack in the first place."
What a horrible thing to have to say to someone. I'm sorry, but there not much I can do. You are going to be disabled for the rest of your life as a cheetah. Akhenaten handed the spotted felid the herbs, chamomile, thyme and licorice root respectively, somberly trying to shake off the guilt he felt at not being able to do any better.
"I'll see if I can get your blood running a bit better." He murmured, beginning to massage her feet, tail and other extremities.[/fancypost]

"I brought water. The last thing we want her to do is to over heat." Pepperpaw meowed between the mouthful of water soaked moss. She had heard the commotion located in this area and knew that she needed to help out. The Shamen assistant dropped the water at Akhenaten's paws, cobalt oculars hardening as she looked down at the Viceroy and observed her condition. Alright, she could talk which was a good thing. The bad thing was obviously the fact that she was paralyzed from her legs and down.
"I can chew the thyme, chamomile and the licorice root into a poultice so it would be easier for Cordelia to consume." The chocolate point offered, claws flexing in and out of their sheaths urgently. This process needed to be done quickly, for there was absolutely no time to waste.

[fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px dashed white; width: 400px; text-align: justify]"Uh, what happened? Anything I can help with?" Caracalnight, who would harm more than help in this situation, asked.
-
Charcoalkit peered out of the nursery, eyes filled with worry. She had no idea what the hell was going on, but she could sense the fear coming from her clanmates. She looked curiously at the, er, 'Viceroy'. The word was foreign to her, considering she had just learned it. She started to take a hesitant step forward, but then stopped, considering it. Maybe they didn't want a kit walking around under their paws right now. But she really wanted to help in some way. I mean, might as well make yourself useful, right? But maybe being useful right now meant staying out of their way. She sighed and sat down. She had wars like this in her mind all the time. Making her a bad decision maker. But hey, she tries. Usually when making a decision, she need other cats opinions, but now, at times like this, even she knows the answer.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 360px; font-family: georgia; font-size: 10px;]bookkit watched with curiosity, looking at her with a mild interest. "i think everyone needs to calm down." he mumbled, watching his father panic.
-
Charcoalkit looked back at Bookkit and nodded in agreement. It would be hard to focus if you were panicked, and you would cause other people around you to worry. Or at least that's how she saw it. She sighed and shifted her weight, her long tail swishing back and forth. She looked down at her paws, licking one and sloppily drawing it over her ear. She kept doing it until her foreleg hurt. A minute after she stopped, she laid down, watching to see what else would happen.

[fancypost bgcolor=transparent; bordercolor=transparent; width: 425px; height: 150px; overflow: auto; padding: 4px; font: 10px georgia; color: black; text-align: left;]"Good idea." He answered the female with a smile, as he continued to massage the cheetah in order to promote blood flow. Pepperpaw was always helpful and she usually had good ideas like that. Things he hadn't thought of that would make the patient just that little bit in better shape. [/fancypost] -
Pepperpaw couldn't resist a small smile as Akhenaten phrased her on her idea. She was glad to be of some assistance with healing, especially in times like these. The brown shaded point craned her neck down to Cordelia's legs and began to lick her fur in the opposite direction - moving up. This would hopefully begin to circulate more blood though the cheetah's paralyzed lower body. She then took a water soaked moss ball and began to move that along Cordelia's other leg that was unoccupied by the young female, going upwards as well. This was almost like a second tongue, getting the job done faster then with only one.
-
Charcoalkit watched, quite intruiged by the apprentice's tatic's. Her eyes were large and filled with curiousness. Her head was tilted slightly as she watched carefully. After a minute or two, She turned and padded back into the nursery, now tired and willing to take a nap. She curled up in a tight soft ball and fell asleep.
