*Rico ate and kept his attention on the waitress at the same time. This girl was something, again, taking his comment with stride. He wanted to ask her out right then, but....it didn't feel right. Not yet. In a few minutes, maybe.*

Jessica then went around to the individual tables and wiped them down.

*After Rico finished eating, he got up to leave. Before he did, however.....He went over to jessica.* 'Hey, do you have plans for tomorrow?"

Not looking up from the table she was wiping, she replied. "Actually, yes...I have to work tomorrow. Apparently one of our coworkers is incompetent and I have to turn around first thing in the morning and fill in for her."

*Rico laughed at that.* "That sucks."

"Yea." she sighed. "But it is a shift that I am getting paid for so I guess it's alright." She then turned and looked at him. "I'm sorry, I...I didn't catch your name."

*The Hyena smiled at her.* "I,m Rico."

"Well...Rico....I'm Jessica." she said holding her had out. "But You can just call me Jess."

*Rico smiled and shook her hand.* "Jess.....It suits you."

"Thanks." she replied. "Well, Rico....you should stop in again. Maybe we can have a drink or something."

*Rico smiled.* "I'd like that." *The he turned and left.*

Jess smiled before she returned to her work.

*A few days later, Rico came back. He wanted to eat, but he also wanted to see Jess again.*

Jess was out busing tabled when a familiar face entered the door. "Oh...hey, Rico." she replied.

*Rico smiled and waved at her.* "Hey, yourself." *He then sat at his regular spot.*

She went around to behind the counter. "What can I do ya for today?" she asked grabbing her pen and paper.

*Rico smiled.* "Whatever's your lunch special, today."

She nodded and wrote it down. "And what can I get you to drink?"
