    I snarled as one of those damn primates swooped in so close, I could of jumped up and grasped it; except, that I couldn't. They climb fast...
    It started hollering, again. I swear it was making fun of me. "Oh yeah you filthy bastard! Bring it!" I snapped savagely at it; barely aware of the white she dog as Audience. "Come down coward and we'll see who's tough then!" Not a a good incentive for it to do so; and before it swung away, I swear it chucked mud at me... How'd it get ahold of that?!



    [color=maroon]*Cough cough* Vincent needs more experience with monkeys... Perhaps he'll get 'mud' in the face next time he goes and threatens them... XD


    As I trotted, I tried to pull my mind off the jealousy swelling inside of me. I mean, I didn't 'own' Vincent, so why did it matter? As I pricked my ears, I heard Vincent yelling. At the monkeys? Must of gotten over that fear. I swished my lacey golden tail, brushing leaves into the wind.


    Ever since my parents died, my conscious became a lot more talkative. Call me crazy, but I've actually had arguments, from heart to head.
    What's wrong? So, now, miss proud, stubborn Jackie is letting something slip away? "Shut it", I muttered out loud. But I knew this was going to keep bothering me. I didn't know why, but it was.
    I don't know why, but my mind was made up. I almost always get what I want when I'm determined. With a sardonic grin, I entered the area where Vincent and Maya stood.
    "I'm not so sure that was mud", I called over, making my way over to them. A skeptic smirk was plastered to my jaw, my eyes narrowed almost playfully.

    I giggled at both of their remarks. "Good morning, Jackie!" I said with a rather large grin. Turning back towards Vincent, a flirtatious look had plastered itself on my face, not that that was unusual of course. 'Vincy? Really, Maya? That the best you can do?' "Oh shut up you..." My voice hushed as I growled. Sheesh, who knew I spoke to myself? Well, you learn something new everyday. I released a slight sigh as I observed the muck on him, and only giggled once more.

I swung around to face her; a grin edging up my muzzle. But another voice made it's way into my ears and I turned toward Maya, another retort at my lips, sure that she was talking to me, until I realized that she was talking to herself.
    That's... Interesting.

    The look was replaced by one of those, 'It's right in front of you' looks I frequently gave. "Seriously?" I retorted, forgetting about my previous thought, well, at least trying to. I saw him beginning to grin, and rolled my icy blue eyes. A white pelt, in the jungles of Africa... Never has been quite the camouflage... "I'm surprised you haven't gotten it yet..."

    I returned the grin to Vincent, lashing out my tail. I was about to respond to Vincent, when Maya spoke up. I bit my tongue, my eyes flashing briefly with anger, but it was gone before anyone could recognise it. Man, I hated it when dogs thought the same way as me. Except for Vincent, that is. Then it's just fun.
    "I think you don't want to know", I responded with a skeptic grin. The wind stirred up my long golden fur, and scent a chill down my spine. I wasn't a very big Golden Retriever, pretty small for my breed, but a medium size.


    I saw a look plastered to Maya's face, and it scent a pulse of furious blood through my veins. I held it down, but even though the air was quite cool, I was burning underneath. But what I did feel guilty about, was feeling like I owned Vincent. I guess I can be kind of clingy to friends.
    Friends? my mind retorted. I snorted inwardly, lashing my tail.

    Nodding, I giggled again. I glanced up, and watched the monkey as it mocked us before flying off through the trees again. Then, I guess it was time to talk to Jackie. I swivelled around to face her, a grin spread across my maw before I saw anger flash in the other dog's eyes. I watched as it vanished, any continued to smile, ignoring that the emotion might involve me.

    (Yeah, they''re pretty similar. But Jackie's a tomboy, and only occasionally flirts.)


    My ears picked up a giggling from Maya. Inside, I scorned, but as she turned to look at me, I flashed a grin. I just hope she didn't see that look that came from my eyes.
    "How are you doing, Maya", I barked calmly, swiveling my ears to face her. I wasn't a dog to be upright hostile. I liked to think about my choices first. Sometimes...

    Flicking my ear, I replied. "Good, good. And you?" I asked. Then, I just realised that I barely even knew Jackie. It was a common trait of mine that I strived to be everyone's friend, and that usually did not help me get anywhere in life. A smile slowly formed on my lips as I heard the calm tone in her voice, and was happy to deceive my self into thinking that it positively could not be me bugging her.

    Jasmine took a deep breath before taking herself underwater, letting the cool liquid engulf her entirely. She opened her eyes as smiled, keeping her mouth shut to reserve air. She swam about, eventually touching the bottom of the deep lake, she decided to resurface. She laughed proudly once she got to the top. "Mizu did you see me?!" She barked proudly. But gasped and yelped when she saw her grandfather fainted. She quickly swam to the shore and shook of her dripping coat. Whining and yelping as she nuzzled him.

    Penelope, sensing that perhaps Raptor would like to be alone, took off running. The wind billowed through her merled fur, and she felt a certain buzz about racing through the rainforest at high speeds. The monkeys screamed from up above, and birds cawed. She didn't care, her mismatched eyes dancing like flames. She was so ecstatic in fact, that she didn't realize that Vincent was in her path of destruction. She almost crashed into him, narrowly missing his lean and muscled body. She settled down immediately, her gaze accusatory. She gagged dramatically when she caught a wiff of odor," Hey stupid," She greeted," Roll around in monkey poop, now did ya?" She gave him an odd look, her curly tail bouncing slightly. Her paws were tense, ready to run again after a quick exchange of words.

    Jasmine saw a figure coming through the distance, being her skittish self she kept herself from strangers. But this was serious, running as fast as her little puppy legs could carry her she ran towards him. " Sirrrrrrr ! Help!" She barked in her high pitched pup voice. Her brown optics full of worry. She began to slow down as she scented him. She gaged a bit but tried to hold it back. Eewww.


    Mizu|Elder|Raptor


    The very old mutt was curled up in a ball on the sand banks. His eyes were open but he couldn't see, his ears were pinned to his head as he began to trash his legs violently. Never had this happened to him, he was mortified. His pupils were large and he had wheezing breaths. The poor 14 year old dog was having a seizure.

    My gaze flickered over to him. "Oh, okay, see you later, Vincy." I replied, a smirk plastered on my face, followed by a flirtatious look in my eyes. I purely only called him that to annoy him, it was funny watching his reaction.

Who do these fae's think they are? I was about to make a comment of my own, going as far as opening my mouth, when a black little pup... Jasmine I think, hurled over to me... me! Why me? Of all the dogs...
    I was about to snap at her too; seeing her reaction to a smell I was trying to wash off. If it wasn't for all these interruptions... Until I saw the old dog thrashing around like a fish out of water. Now I was lost... "I...I..." I stammered; casting a frantic glance over my shoulder and into the depths of the jungle where the camp lay... What was I going to say? I can't...? What, because of a reputation...?
    I shook my head. Shit... So instead of finishing my sentence I loped over to the old dog.
    I've only seen this once, but my ... never told me what it was. That and I was a small whelp. So I sat there, looking at the dog like a retarded squirrel. I'm no healer! Should I splash water in his face? Well, that's what I got; so if you have any better idea's...
    "It's going to be alright..." I whispered so low that the old one might have not even heard it... It's all I've got, other then the water thing.


    Don't look at me like that...

    OOC: XD this is fun watching Vince react to this XD I can just see him now, "Somebody get the waterrrrr!" XD

    Mizu slowed down, holding his breath to restrict blood flow. Making his body go slightly numb to help reduce the thrashing, "Is that all you can say?" The elder smirked painfully, trying to not think about the blasting pain in his heart. He dug his claws into the sand as his body shook. His grand daughter Jasmine watched from a distance. Her eyes made him sad. His little girls eyes were big and wide with worry and fear for the future .


    As Vincent left, I opened my mouth to make a snappy comment. But then I rethought that> Usually, it was only one dog at a time, getting into little 'Fights' with him. More like sardonic, skeptic arguments over nothing. Was he getting annoyed by two dogs?
    I quickly thought about something else to say, that wouldn't annoy him, but was still something I would say.


    I flashed a grin, sardonic as always, lashing my tail. "Right. Good luck with that mud!" I called, before rising to my paws. I shook out my long golden coat, before turning to Maya. "Well, I gotta go to, I pretty hungry", I barked, turning on my heel, and rotting off.

    Penelope rolled her eyes, before spotting Mizu, an old dog. She trotted forward, her gaze serious." Mizu?" She said softly, her tone even for once. She nudged the old dog's shoulder worriedly, whining slightly." What are we going to do?" She asked Vince, looking at the brute suddenly.
