The next morning, hiccup slowly began to wake up and saw Karin and Aerio asleep on the chairs beside his bed.

Aerio mumbled alittle before waking, looking around.

"Aerio...? Karin...?" He said with confusion on his face.

Aerio smiled and stood, "Hey dad" he said.

He smiled and started to sit up.

He smiled and walked over, "How are you feeling?"

"Like I've been in a battle..." He laughed.

He laughed alittle, sitting on the side of his bed. "Sorry we weren't there"

He hugged him with his good arm "I'm so happy your safe..." He said

He nodded and sighed, "Yeah... I just wish... we were all here..." he sighed and looked at the mantle and the picture of his mom.

He sighed as a tear fell down his face "I did all I could...." He cried.

He nodded and looked at him with a sniffle. "It's not you're fault"

"Then why do I feel like it is...?" He asked.
