He stumbled back as he heard and saw the loud clash of lightning, it was so loud that he covered his ears from the deafening blast and he fell to the floor, not noticing the sound of Aurora calling his name.

She walked towards him and kneeled down, sitting beside him. "Hic?" she asked with concern.

OOC: it's a family tradition to read the Christmas carol every Christmas. I'm replying while listening and i have a strange need to write formally XD.
He heard her voice and slowly removed his arms that covered his face. He slowly raised his gaze to meet hers.

She smiled and held the bundle in her arms, "You know, goodbyes aren't always forever" she smiled.

He gasped, suddenly tackling her in a hug, but tried to not squish the bundle.

Aurora smiled and hugged him back before pulling back and undoing the bundle alittle. A high pitched yawn came and small green eyes stared up at him.

Hiccup was speechless as he looked down at the little bundle.

"This is your son" she told him before giving the bundle of blankets to him.

He took him from her, he was slightly trembling. "H-He's beautiful..." he murmured with a smile on his face.

She smiled and watched him with growing joy. "His name is Aerio, demigod of invention" she told him with a smile.

he smiled happily and hugged her "I missed you so much..." he said.

She smiled and hugged him back before Aerio started to pull on his father's braids. She giggled alittle.

he laughed and pulled his tiny hands off of his hair and he let him hold his finger instead.

The little demigod blinked his green eyes up at him then laughed.

he laughed and smiled at Aurora.

She smiled and rested her head on his shoulder.
