"come on." paranoia muttered under her breath. then, she hid herself in a bush opposite from vindicate. finally, four of the birds spotted the partially alive fish and swooped down to devour it. while the geese fought for prey, paranoia shot a glance at vindicate, hoping he'd realize this was a signal to attack. she leapt out of the bush and on to the nearest bird, digging in her claws.

  • he saw the signal and pounced onto the nearest bird to him, digging his claws into its flesh, wrestling with it and the other birds that weren't being attacked flew away, squawking, he then drew his knife and in a quick motion, slashed it across the goose's neck and the bird died

paranoia sank her teeth into her goose's neck, killing it in one bite. she realized that vindicate got one too. "nice knife skills." the tuxedo complimented. "let's go back now." there was no way they could hunt more, with each of them carrying a bird, and then there was the mouse they'd buried earlier.

  • he cleaned off the knife in the snow and smiled to paranoia after he sheathed it "thanks, I've been practicing a lot" he mowed before he hauled the goose onto his back and then nodded "okay, let's get out of here then" he finally said

paranoia arrived at the spot where they'd buried the mouse and began to dig. after several minutes, she unearthed nothing though she was sure this was the correct spot. "it's gone." she meowed quietly, confused by the situation. what could have happened to it?
