I looked up, my eyes glazed with hurt. "It's okay. I know you possibly didn't mean it. Now, I need to go see where Anthony is.", I said softly as I slowly raised up from my chair and shuffled into the house. "Oh great.", I groaned as I knelt down and began picking the larger pieces of broken bowl from the splattered oatmeal.

Once everything was cleaned up, I wiped my brow and headed off for Anthony's bedroom. "Baby, it's me. It's daddy. It's okay, he's not gonna get you.", I whispered as I entered his room. There were little toys scattered all over the floor. Anthony crawled out from under his bed, immediately jumping up for me to hold him. I picked him up in my arms and rocked him gently, humming a soothing tune. He sobbed quietly into my shirt, gasping for breaths here and there.

Soon, Anthony's sobs were quieted as I sat on his bed and continued to rock him, occasionally kissing his cheek. "You want to go watch TV?", I asked quietly. He nodded and clung closer to me as I lifted him up. We walked into the living room only to see Logan sitting his his chair.

I sat Anthony on the couch before flying out the door and hurrying after Logan. "No! Don't go, please. You're drunk, baby. Please don't do this.", I begged as I tugged him back and placed my hands on his cheeks, feeling them burn with heat from his anger. "Please, don't do this. Don't go. Not now.", I said softly.

I nodded and quickly wrapped my arms around his neck. "I promise.", I choked out in a sad whispered sob. I buried my face into his neck and nuzzled him. "I'm just glad you aren't going to drive off like last time. You left me for nearly a month.", I whispered.

"Then what was that you were about to do? Go to the store or something?", I asked with a bit of anger. I sighed and shook my head. "Let's just get inside. I know Anthony is probably so confused and scared.", I said as I walked us both inside to find that Anthony had fled the room once more.

Anthony peeked out from around the corner, his head looking out from his door frame. He hurried down the hall and hugged onto my legs, looking up at Logan. "So, he won't hurt me?", he asked me. I shook my head and smiled. "No, baby, he won't. Maybe he would like an apology for you thinking that.", I replied. Anthony gulped before timidly scooting over to Logan and wrapping his arms around his legs like he did to me. "I'm sorry daddy...", he said softly.

[font=tahoma][size=11px]Anthony studied his father's face quietly and let a smile creep to his lips. "I love you, daddy.", he said softly as he wrapped his little arms around his neck. I smiled and came around Logan and wrapped my arms around his waist and let my head rest on his shoulder.

[font=tahoma][size=11px]Anthony nuzzled his face into Logan's shoulder happily and soon found himself getting sleepy. I saw his eyes close and smiled. "Someone needs a nap.", I whispered. "Will you put him in bed?", I asked Logan as I came from around him to face him.

[font=tahoma][size=11px] Anthony quickly buried himself under the covers and curled up, hugging his pillow gently. I sat down on the couch and changed the channel on the TV to something more appealing to myself.
