  • [font=Cambria]He didn't have too many friends, if he even had any. Many acquaintances, little known things. He was about the age of an apprentice, yet, he didn't want to earn his apprentice name all quite yet. He had his own secret ambitions, his own secret regrets that he would never forget, there were things that he would never let go. Why can't I just... say what I wanna say... And let the words fall out... Honestly... He wanted to be brave, he really did.
So there he sat, with his tail curled around his paws, and his blue eyes staring forward.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][font=georgia][size=8] Chronopaw was up and about as usual, tossing her head this way and that and murmuring 'hellos' and 'thank yous' to those who had missed the meeting Savvystar had held. The tortie sighed happily but there was still a sad aura within her that stood out just like her cunning blue eyes had. However, the coldness thawed just a little bit and you could see the warmth in her cold optics. Speaking of warmth, she couldn't wait till spring was here though it meant heavy rains, bad storms, and possibly strong winds that might stir up a tornado or two.

Chronopaw, however, had some friends. Some of them who she hadn't seen around much and most of her friends were family and she had no family in DarkClan so it was like saying that she didn't have any friends. Though she had a few. There was Silentwisp and Southernkit and that was all because her roleplayer was quite tired but had a lot of muse coursing through her veins. Chronopaw looked up for a moment, noticing a apprentice-aged kit by himself. Curious, the DCAM wandered over with her head tilted and noticed that it was Himalayankit and that made a smile flash across her features for a moment's notice. "Hey, what's up?" Her voice cut through the silence like sharp scissors cutting across paper: that perfect slice.

  • [font=Cambria]The red tabby paused, then looked up, his old wary look gone. "Hey Chrono," he greeted lightly, flicking his ringed tail back and forth as he looked at the feline, his deep blue optics glittering. He remembered the time when he was afraid of those icy blue eyes, the ones that weren't as discomforting as they once had been. "Not much, just thinking about everything really, what has happened in the past moon." Blissfulpaw's demotion, his mother's disappearance, Chronopaw's mother's disappearance, Johnnypaw's promotion, Johnnypaw's murder, Silentwisp's promotion and return, etc. He could go on, for an extremely long time.
"So... How have you been?" He asked, firing back the question at her, since it was the most polite thing to do, and plus it seemed somewhat convenient for him to ask, so that he could think some more.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][font=georgia][size=8] Yes, a lot of things had happened in the past moon and Chrono nodded. "A lot happened..." That was all she could say and she gave a sigh both out of boredom. Her ears pricked as she decided to answer the question which was the right thing to do. "I've been... depressed. My mother and father is... dead. My brother left me to go find my mom's murderer." Chronopaw felt her shoulders sag. "Have you ever felt like you were betrayed before? That's exactly how I feel like." She stated, eyes lowering towards the ground.

  • [font=Cambria]"Your brother?" Himalayankit asked softly, tilting his head over towards one side, as he let his fur shudder slightly. He had left Shadowclan, had left his sister and his father there, he had done it for a good reason. "Yea... I feel like as if my mother has betrayed me, by leaving without saying goodbye." He paused, then looked down at his paws. "She didn't say goodbye, which had to be the worst part." His tail lashed with anger. It was a burden to him, this all.
He had been playing around with herbs for the past couple of moons; it was odd for him, since he wasn't usually into merely sitting around and doing nothing but look at herbs. But it wasn't all too hard, now that he was older.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][font=georgia][size=8] "Neither did my mom," She murmured sadly though her anger had gotten the best of her this time, making her icy gaze fire up with intensity remaining hard and cold. The cold had seeped back into her gaze as she looked away for a moment, squeezing her eyes shut. "My brother left without saying goodbye either." She said, almost hissing as her tail thumped angrily against the snow. "I guess we're somewhat alike, Hima?" She tried to calm herself as she set her dead blue eyes on the red tabby.

  • [font=Cambria]"Yea... It's just us..." he murmured sadly, shaking his head to and fro. "No one ever feels this way, except for us." He repeated that in his head. Hm. it wasn't really fair. They had been dumped, just left alone. She had lost her dad too, in front of their eyes. He had lost his siblings; they had merely disappeared.
His blue eyes darkened for a moment, and his vice grip focused on the ground. It was like a set of tendrils, gouging deep into the dirt.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][font=georgia][size=8] Chronopaw didn't know what to say next other than attempting to lift a small pebble with her new powers and keep it in the air for a few seconds before settling it down but at the end she would receive a small nose bleed which she already had one today when she had gained her power. She had taken a chunk out of the camp ground and had thrown it elsewhere. She looked away once more, laying on her belly and curling her tail around herself. "I'm sure there's a lot more people who has felt this way before. We're not the only ones, Himalayan." The tortie half-muttered half-growled, her eyes trained on her paws.

  • [font=Cambria]The red tabby huffed, then let his fur rise, then fall. "Do you need some moss or something for that?" He meowed, for a moment, then turning back to the conversation. "I suppose not," he muttered grimly. "Feeling sad isn't the worst part of it, it's remembering all of the bad things. Even when good things happen, there's always something bad to ruin it." He gazed down for a moment, closing his eyes shut. Sometimes... he just wished that he was just a normal feline, one that didn't have the experiences that he now...
"But... Hopefully, aiming for our ambitions will help us grow stronger; it'll give us hope."

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][font=georgia][size=8] "No, its fine." She mewed, lowering her head into the snow as she now looked up at the kitten as he continued to spoke. Now that she thought about it, Chronopaw didn't really have any ambitions except for the ambition to live and be feared along with the rest of her Clan. However, the tortie did nod in agreement. The bad things always made her angry or sad and even depressed. When she's depressed she thinks of suicidal thoughts. But she didn't want to be on suicide watch and had to have at least one person with her at all times even when she's sleeping. That would be extremely weird. "You know Hima, you are way too intelligent to still be a kitten but if you're not ready then I understand that. I'm just saying that you're are quite smart."

  • At first, he didn't get it. "I don't want to become an apprentice quite yet... Cause I feel like there's some stunts I can still do. And... I only let my tongue do the work." His eyes sparkled mischeviously.
