[ I apologize for this not very great post. My Broncos are currently losing to the Chargers and I know there is little hope they'll pull through at the moment. It's actually quite amusing, considering I'm a California resident, but Colorado born- Anyway, the post c: ]
Weary, exhausted chocolate orbs stared ahead at what appeared to be an endless pine forest. Every five feet was blocked by a towering tree that appeared to touch the skies at an intense height that made you almost nauseous as you stared up at it. A thick layer of white blanketed the trees and the ground, covering everything in sight with the powdery substance. The bordie collie leader had led the patrol of a few Solsticeclan members in search of a new place they could dub their home. The earthquake had shook everyone up, not just literally but mentally as well. The loud cracking noises that had erupted into the air filled with rumbles from the Earth echoed in his ears and the twenty-five month old leader just wanted to scream out in frustration, but of course this wasn't an option. He had to keep his cool as he was one of the two leaders. His clan would follow him no matter what and he knew that if he kept the reassured, calm mask upon his face that his clan-mates would hopefully feel less fearful and frightened by the recent natural disaster.
About ready to suggest turning around and trying a different direction, something caught Twelfthstar's eyes. Head titling slightly, eyes narrowing to see if he could get a better glimpse of the structure ahead, the leader felt his breath catch in his throat. Without a word, the canine forced his legs to propel himself forward had a sprinting speed, hope tracing his heart as he forced his aching paws forward, dodging the pines that hid the building from his sight. Skidding to a halt, the black and white creature felt his heart jump into his mouth, excitement buzzing through him like busy bumble bees.
It looked like a castle from a fairy-tale. Something that was just yanked from a storybook and placed into the thick forest. Before him stood a closed, abandon opera house that appeared to be loosely based on Paris' famous opera house. The structure stood tall and proud, and Twelfthstar knew, granted that no one was inhabiting the building, that this would be their new living quarters, or at least a place for them to hold meetings for another object standing besides the opera house made the canine let out a yelp of victory. There, next to the opera house, was a grand mansion which blended almost perfectly with the snow. Chocolate orbs turning around to stare at the clan-mates he was hopeful to find behind him, Twelfthstar nodded his head in the direction of the two buildings.
"Go take a look at them, I believe we may have a new home! Also, gather in a bit and we'll announce promotions and demotions!."
[ So the story to this is that a mile or so away is a town, a low-key town. A rich billionaire liked this town and decided to buy a chunk of land where he built a mansion for himself and his family and an opera house which he hoped to host operas in to entertain his friends and others. Well he got into a car crash and died and the family basically abandoned the opera house and mansion. Have fun exploring the two buildings! All members have the opportunity of living in one of the many rooms in the mansion or living in a star's room in the opera house. There is also a sky deck for creatures to stargaze on the mansion. ]
