    "That's just ridiculous..." Sytho muttered to himself as he passed the market. The prices were sky rocketing since yesterday. It was a good thing the grey stallion had bought his groceries then instead of waiting until now. The rain had lightened up a little, but was still pouring down quite hard. Puddles had began forming in the potholes of the streets. This District is a mess... Sytho thought bitterly.


    "Excuse me, sir? Do you need something?" A voice asked to the stallion's side. He turned to face the voice, seeing that it was one of the sales ponies.


    "No, I don't need anythin'. Just admiring this place before I am gone..." Sytho answered, his voice trailing off as his head hung low.


    "How many times is your name in, son?"


    "Over fifty..." Sytho bit his tongue, narrowing his eyes. The rain made it hard to see clearly, but he could still make out the shape of the sales pony.


    "You must have bought a mansion to have your name in that many times!" The sales pony joked, trying his best to lighten the mood. It didn't work as well as he planned.


    "Somethin' like that, yeah." Sytho replied with a slight chuckle. "But the real question should be: Was it really worth it?" He asked, mostly to himself.


    "Not. At. All." He answered in a hushed manner. A long awkward silence followed, leaving the sales pony glancing around.


    "Would you like some bread?" The sales pony asked.


    "Why not? It'll just add onto my chances." Sytho decided.


    "It's on the house." The other pony remarked, setting a full loaf of bread on the counter.


    "Thank you. If only everypony was like you." The grey Pegasus thanked, nodding a farewell before taking the loaf. He turned tail and began trotting back toward his house.

    Sytho decided to stay in one spot and eat the loaf of bread. He sat down on a dry spot of dirt, biting down on the fresh pastry. It practically melted in his mouth as he began chewing. A satisfied 'hmm' vocalized from his throat as he swallowed. He never had such a well baked delicacy in his life. This was by far the best moment in a long time for this stallion and he was enjoying it.

(No that's bad lol) The bell rung telling all the ponies to get ready, As Daze got to her house the opened the door slowly, picking up her soup and bread to put in the Oven... there was still time to eat and dress...     Sytho finished the bread, standing up and sighing. He looked around for the last time before heading home. Instead of rushing through the covers the shops gave, he steadily trotted down the path. The rain soaked his mane and coat to the point of dripping. He didn't care. All he wanted was it to be over.

    Once Sytho had reached his house, he sighed as he walked onto the porch. With a slight hesitation, he pushed open his door. He didn't care that he was tracking mud. This was soon going to be gone, taken by the District and used for some kind of shop. All those years of preparation are now going to be used. He was ready.
