Jade cursed a string of words that any normal person in a normal situation would hesitate to say in front of a teacher. But this was not a normal person, nor was she in a normal situation.
"Let go of me!" She shouted, then cursed a blue streak once more as the portal swallowed them up.

Mark threw one more dagger in a futile attempt to stop the portal, but instead it was swallowed up along with Jade and Holo.
"Jade! Holo!" He screamed, stepping out as if to try and pull them back, but instead, he grabbed at air. He paused to just let it sink in. He had lost two of his students--and they were not just students. Special kids. Very special kids.

IC: They had teleported to a prison-type thing. Jay walked towards one of the cells, Jade and Holo in tow, and opened the cell... seemingly with his powers. Then he threw Jade into the cell and locked the door. He did the same with Holo in a cell nearby.
The cells were small, only about 2 or 3 meters long and wide, and there were piles of rotting straw in a corner for sleeping on. The cell was damp, and there was barely any light.

Rin nodded. She closed her eyes and lifted her head up towards the rain. The constant drumming on her face soothed her and she imagined that the gloves were gone and her normal, non-metal, hands would be back when she looked. And they were. "Let's get out of the rain..." she trailed off and suddenly noticed Charles staring at her. "What?"
