Everpaw nodded his thanks, his emerald eyes scanning the crowd for his new mentor. He spotted him and weaved in and out of the crowd to make his way there. "Hello." He meowed, trying to make a good impression on the warrior.

Slatewhisker looked around for Skypaw, and soon his green eyes found hers. The small golden flecks swam in the pools of his green eyes excitedly, and he made his way through the crowd of cats to sit next to her.
"Hey," he mewed cautiously, his tail flicking against the soft, white snow.

Sweetmist noticed Emberleap and Frostbolt were both gone, so she watched over her kits and Frostbolt's, making sure they didn't get trampled by the large crowd of congratulatory cats.

Flamekit sprinted up to the newly named Everpaw, and squeaked,
"Hello Everpaw! Congratulations! What is it like to be an apprentice now? What did it feel like to be up there, getting your name? Will you teach me some tricks for hunting and fighting every once in a while?" He flashed the other tom a toothy grin, and flicked his ear gently, waiting for an answer.

Everpaw laughed, gently cuffing the kit over the ear. His green eyes looked up, remembering the questions in order."Hi, thank you, it feels great, I felt powerful- like I could do anything, and yes, I'll show you a few tricks here and there." his brown frame seemed to be held differently, more proud, more adult-like.

Flamekit laughed, turned himself in a circle gleefully, and sprinted back to his mother.
"Thank you, Everpaw!" he squeaked again, and ran into his sister by accident.

Sweetmist shook her head, watching Flamekit fall into Starpaw. She laughed a bit, and purred.
"Should we stay out here a bit longer or do you guys want to go back into the nursery?" she asked.

Everpaw watched the small kit go with a smile on his face. He turned back to Copperfeather.

Starkit squealed in surprise as her brother bowled her over. She quickly regained her balance and meowed, "We can go back, but I don't really mind either way."

Sweetmist ushered her kits away from the crowd into the nursery, deciding Palekit and Ivykit were able to stay out on their own for awhile.
What would it be like, to have a mate by my side always. It's odd how the kits haven't noticed yet. she thought.

Sweetmist shook it off, her blue eyes searching for something to say. She purred, trying to put on a better mood, and mewed, "Nothing you have to worry about at the moment, dear."

Starkit sat down, even if the other cats kept walking. She wanted to know what was bothering her mom, no matter what. "I do have to worry. It's bothering my momma!" she squealed, upset Sweetmist wouldn't tell her.

Flamekit lowered himself into the nest, his flame-colored fur sticking out from the greenish moss. He slipped into the dark waters of sleep easily, his tail and ears flicking every so often.
