    Perhaps a rename of the mentor system? And maybe the apprentices could be Pages. Elders could be Veterans, or maybe they just stay the same.

    I think aprentices should just stay aprentices since in medieval time people actually had aprentices. :)

    this all sounds fantastic! And there could be a castle! and opposing kingdoms!
    ...and um... I think the word you were thinking of for prisoners would be peasants. pheasants are types of bird X3

    A giant mansion on Gallifrey surrounded with rainbows and unicorns and ice cream, guarded by Weeping Cyberdaleks... Sorry. A castle by a massive lake, with an equal sized forest. Maybe they could have stories about monsters in the lake.
