Leika's world was plummeting. "You can't come back?" she choked. Why was she crying? He was a republican... Only a- no. He wasn't a republican- it was foolish to think like that. He was a-a friend. Something tugged at Lucian's mind. The rebel base. It was a tiny voice who told him this. He handed Brad to River and looked at her. "I'll come back," he hissed. "Wait for me here." He darted out of the room, flinging a dagger at Jane. It hit her ankle, but Lucian didn't care. He was out, dashing at the speed of light. What was possessing him?

Leika stood there, open mouthed, too shocked to cry.

Lucian had reached the base. He walked slowly in. There was a certain sadness in the air. On the first floor, he was greeted by a sea of collapsed robots.... and a girl with red hair. She was just standing there, staring at some place. "What was going on?" he asked. The girl turned around and their eyes met. They could have stared at each other for centuries, but the girl's legs slowly buckled.

"Brother?" Leika whispered. "But you're dead." The boy who looked like her brother shook his head. But then he smiled. Then chuckled. Then laughed. But it wasn't an evil laugh, it was a laugh of joy, and pure joy. "I'm not dead," he said. "But, technically, I am your brother." Leika searched around in her memory, but she was distracted. Her eyes swept over the robots. There were two robots that looked the same. Like twins. Leika looked up. "You were twins with Lucas?" she asked uncertainly. The boy nodded. "I'm Lucian. Hi Leika." His smile wobbled. "We have to go."
