    "You do?" she asked in a tone that was a mix of relief and surprise. Knowing he had a kid really opened up the doors of conversation. "I have a kid too!" she said, excitededly. "His name is Logan and he's two."

    My eyes went wide with surprise " I like his name. " I said to her. " Say, after our date here, do you wanna come back to my place with me and meet Corey? He'll love you" I said to her. I parked the car infront of the restaurant. It was expensive. I got out and walked around her side and opened her door before heading towards the door. I tossed the keys to the valet, and walked inside towards the reservation desk.

    "I'd love to meet him," she said before Matt got out and came to open the door for her. Her eyes shined as she saw the fancy restaurant, this was right up her alley. She loved fancy restaurants and it'd been forever since she'd been to one because she had no one to go with until now.

    I smiled slightly. I took her hand in mine and when we arrived at the reservation desk, I looked at the woman. " Private table for Sanders" I said to her. She looked at me before grabbing two menus and leading us past the normal dining area into a very private room that was lit up with candles and the icecicle lights you would see on the outsides of houses in christmas. I pulled out her chair and waited for her to sit down before pushing it in a little bit. I then sat down. " We'll take a bottle of your finest red wine" I said to the waitress.

    Ashley sat down. This was almost like a dream. She bit her lip, trying not say anything until the waitress left. When she left the room, Ashley gave Matt a sort of shy look. "You are crazy, did you know that?" she said with a teasing smile. "This is great but I really don't deserve a place like this... A guy like you. I mean, I haven't done anything for you and you're already treating me like a princess." Her quizical gaze seemed to say she still wasn't convinced if this was the real him. After seeing him screaming in a rock band, she'd thought he might be a little more high-strung, out for adreneline and thrills yet there they were, sitting in a quiet, fancy restaurant.

    I smiled at her. " I've been called that a few times" I said to her, tagging a small laugh at the end. " Well, when you're with a guy like me you're going to go to places like this" I told her, and besides, I like you, and when I like a girl they are princesses in my eyes." I looked up as the waitress arrived with our red wine. I then poured some in our glasses, looking at him.

    "Well thanks," she said and opened up the large menu in front of her. There were so many things she didn't even know what sounded the best. She peeked over the menu at Matt. "Have you been here before?" she asked.

    "Several times" I said to her. " Mainly with the guys. We usually come here to celebrate when we release a new album. " I told her. " Why?" I asked.

    She smiled a little. "Oh good. What food do you think will taste best with this wine? I really don't drink wine much so I have no idea," she said, knowing that if you got the right food with the wine it could make both of them taste even better but if you got the wrong kind of food it could make the flavors clash in your mouth and result in a not-so-great combination.

    "You're thinking too much about it" I said laughing slightly. "Almost anything on that menu. I'm getting steak. I'm sure some sort of chicken would taste good. I don't really know. I only get one thing, and that's steak" I told her. " There is a section though that tells you what food goes best with what wine"

    Ashley flipped the page and smiled, a little embarrassed. "Found it," she said and studied the menu. Chicken sounded pretty good so she read down the list til she found a good one and put the menu down.

    I smiled at her and when the waitress came back, I gave her my usual order, and once they were ordered, she took the menus and walked away. I smiled gently at Ashley. " So, what would you like to talk about?"I asked her softly.

    "Hmm," she thought about it, there was so mich she didn't know about him it was hard to find a place to start. "Well you obviously like music, which can be a hobby as well as a job, but what kind of other things do you do for fun?"

    "I go out to Johnny's bar, I usually just sit at home and hang out with my friends and play call of duty and hang out with Corey. I don't really do much to be honest. Oh, and I work out, but other than that, not much." I said to her. " I'm usually touring or writing a new album so I don't have time to do anything super time consuming. How about you?" I asked her.

    "Lately, I've been pretty busy with work but when I have time I like to go running and sometimes I listen to music," she replied. "Speaking of music, the first half of your concert was really good. I was a little distracted for the last of it but I'm sure it was good too. Is it weird having so many people adore you?"

    I shrugged my shoulders. " Not really, I'm used to it. At first it was kind of weird having thousands of people adoring you, wanting autographs, and pictures, but quite honestly I like it, I feel like they're just a big huge family that I am a part of. " I told her " and thank you. I'm glad you liked it, I just wish you didn't get hurt though. I still feel bad about that"

    "It wasn't your fault," she said, thinking about her clumsy fall for a brief moment. "I can't believe you actually do that for a living. I mean, everyone has dreams when they're kids, they think they can be whatever they want but honestly, life is a lot harder than it seems and even if you try your hardest, you can't always reach your goals. There's a point where most people just have to accept that they're no different than anyone else, that they're nothing special. There's only a few like you that actually have everything they dreamed of," she said, taking a sip of the wine and thinking about how different her life would be now if she had done everything she dreamed about when she was a kid.

    I know, but I feel kinda responsible, because you were at my concert, so it feels like it is my fault. " I told her. " I guess, that just goes to prove that if you try hard enough, and you've got the right mindset you can do whatever you want in life"
