    Fernwhisker looked at him "their fine, since I'm a medicine cat I know what's best to do and not to do... Yet also unsure... I'm scared Emberfoot..." She said pressing against his flank. Amberflower had a robin of her own and started plucking the feathers from it smiling at te kits before she did so.


    Foxheart laughed "ok ok my speed was an advantage." And batted playfully at his ear. Wolfkit sat straight up "yeah!" Hawkkit just shrugged "ok... Ready set go!" He said bounding off to the freshkill pile. Wolfkit let out a small growl and ran after him a tail length behind.


    Tigerheart awoke from his doze and watched the kits with a smile. Darksoul took a bite "well I couldn't help but fall in love with you and feel the need to protect you... You're everything to me" he looked at her and started to chew.

    EmberFoot pressed against her comfortingly. "I know sweetheart and if worst comes to worst I will take full responsibility..." He said nuzzling her. "But StarClan I know they will be gorgeous just like you."
    SparkFrost blushed and hid her head in his fur. "I love you so much." She whispwred and linked their tails. "Id hate to have nkt met you."


    The kthree apprentices ate in silence, all of them content and happy but just quiet. They may have looked like loners but they werent.


    GreyStorm laughed as he stretched. "Wanna go out for a run? The kits will be fine in here." He said.
    BlossomKit giggled and raced off, just a little behind HawkKit. She put on an extra burst of speed though and managed to just get ahead

    Foxheart purred in delight "sure!" She looked at Tigerheart questioningly and he nodded. "Ill be sure they don't follow you and get in trouble." He said. Foxheart looked gratefully at him before starting toward the camp entrance.


    Hawkkit squealed with excitement "ill beat you one day Blossomkit! Just watch!!" He said putting a burst of speed to match pace with her. Wolfkit growled a little and started to run a little faster as well.


    Amberflower took a bite from the robin. "So how's it like being apprentices?" She said after swallowing then took another bite. Darksoul licked her cheek "I wouldn't even dream of something like that. Because I can't see anything in my future without you." He took another bite as chewed slowly.


    Fernwhisker picked up a dead marigold leaf. "You don't have to... It would be just as much my fault. I would never let you suffer the consequences alone. Were in this together." She said her gaze full of intense feeling.

    SparkFrost purred happily. "Well... Luckily my mother brought us here." She said as she started to groom DarkSouls fur.
    EmberFoot sighed and pressed against he. "Well lets just hope it goes fine. AmberFlower did say she would pretend to be the mother." EmberFoot said with asmile.


    GreyStorm grinned and he padded out with her. As they exitted he stretched and shook out his fluffy gret fur. "Come lets go tis way. C " He said as he started off left



    MudPaw shrygged. "Life isnt bad." The blind tom meowed "Im sorry FernPww and BrokenPaw cant answer but they are good.. Though FernPaw still grieves our mothers death." He said.
    BrokenPaw smiled.


    BlossomKit stuck out her tongue as she skidded to a stop and yawned tiredly. She saw TigerHeart and grinned. "Grandad!" She squealed running over.

    Foxheart looked at him in wonder and followed marching him step or step.


    Tigerheart laughed "you make me sound old" as Hawkkit came up snorting in laughter, with Wolfkit close behind who fell to the floor "that was fun!" He said happily and somewhat out of breath.


    Darksoul purred "yeah lucky. Mom used to say that I would always annoy her by asking 'Mom! Who's that beautiful shekit? Is she from Starclan? Because she's so beautiful...' " he purred his face growing hot.
    Amberflower took a few more mouthfuls of robin and nodded "sounds nice." Then she chewed.


    Fernwhisker nodded "I know but-" they won't know me as their mother... she forced herself to not said the words and a thorn of pain pierced her heart making her flinch and pain flashed through her eyes as she thought of it.

    "I know this is hard for you. But we will get through it... And itll work out somehow..." He nuzzled her and twined his tail tighter. "I wish I couldht!" He whispered.


    SparkFrost blushed and flicked her tail back and forth. "I was always mesmerized by how seweet and brave you were. You were always so protective as well.' She added.


    GreyStorm smiled at his grogeous mate. "What do you wanna do? Hunt?"


    BlossomKit cuddled up to TigerHeart.

    "That's only because I had you to protect" darksoul said lovingly. Amberflower finished her robin and looked at the kits. "You wanna play a game?" She asked.


    Foxheart tipped her head slightly in thought "hmmmmm.... Sure." She finally concluded. Fernwhisker looked at him "I hope so..." She said quietly and nuzzled him grateful for his presence. "I'm so glad I have you." She whispered in his ear.


    Tigerheart smiled "you're adorable Blossomkit." He said. Wolfkit crawled onto Tigerheart and lay down. Hawkkit settled beside him. "Time to take a break" he said.

    GrayStorm smiled and he scented the air. He sxented birds off to one area abd voles and mice in another. "What are you hungy for?" He asked.
    BlossomKit yawned and looked up at TigerHeart. She cuddled closer.


    SparkFrost purred deeply and she licked DarkSouls neck fur happily. She loved him so much.
    MydPaw shrugged. "I suppose we could try." He said and nudged his siblings to get up.


    EmberFoot licked FernWhiskers cheek. "So how long till they arrive?" He asked

    Foxheart tilted her head thinking then replied "maybe a nice vole." She said. Wolfkit and Hawkkit cuddled together and next to Tigerheart.


    Tigerheart purred "you kits make me happy." they would've made Mapleleaf happy too... he thought as he laid his head on his paws and curled his tail over Blossomkit.


    Darksoul purred and groomed her head. Amberflower thought for a moment, "how about a scavenger hunt? All of you could do that." She said.


    Fernwhisker shook her head "not for awhile. Do you think Pantherstar could see through us?" She asked.
