"a system controller " I said gravely
the master looked at me, eyes filled with fear, "no, I'd rather die"
-
She looked at The Doctor.
-
he looked at her sadly "timelord slave technology"
-
She looked back at The Master, a small glimmer of sympathy in her eyes.
-
"you're just going to keep me?" he said as he looked at the bracelet
"you've let me no other choice" I sent him a demand to test it out and he unwillingly went dderper into the tardis
-
"Are you sure this is wise?" Seer asked The Doctor.
-
"its the only way, hell tack control or leave and threaten my friends again" I put my hands on the console and sighed "why does it always have to be me?"
-
She put a hands over his, "The burden of being one of the last of our people" She said gently, "At least now you have someone to share in it"
-
I smiled and looked at her hand then at her face "yeah, guess you're right, I thought I killed all of them, the last time lord, guess not"
-
"It seems the High Council did something right by sending me away"
-
"for once" I smirked then spun around the console "so, any suggestions?"
-
"Well... Earth is safe as long as The Master's in custody. So, we could either kill him, permanently, or condemn him to spend the rest of his regenerations as a prisoner on a far off planet"
-
"I've already tried both, he already has used all regenerations and he either steals bodies or tricks the council into giving him more"
-
"Then we take him to a planet with no other life forms to spend his last. There is no Council to give him more bodies"
-
I sighed "I'm not sure I can, wanna know something?"
-
She looked at him, "Tell me"
-
"he was my best friend when we were kids, and I was his only friend, I've fought him so many times I've lost count because unlike everything else in the universe he doesn't kill me"
-
She nodded in understanding, not moving her hand from where it still held his.
-
"not sure I can kill him or send him to death, yet I can't let him go" I sighed in frustration
