    welcome to bear hill stables. we are a riding school that runs on solely donations and student funds for their lessons. we have a good amount of one hundred acres for your pleasure and we are built in michigan. our horses have been trained by the finest and we offer riding lessons and boarding for all ages. we are a very close-knit group that is similar to a family and we try to keep it that way. we take in injured or sick horses in need of a home and we try to heal them to the best of our ability. if you have any questions, please see the information below. if your question is still not answered, don't be afraid to ask staff.[/size][size=3]

    history.
    -- once upon a time .. nah just kidding. cooper kaine diesal was born on the eighteen of november in the middle of a blizzard, so it was pretty fitting he came out screaming. he was the first son and first child of mitchell and ethal diesal. he grew up pretty normally, he was spoiled by his family, for some reason the older generations of the diesal family loved to spoil the younger generations. when he was three his baby brother came along, at first he was jealous, liking being an only child but he soon grew to like having his brother around. mostly because if he did something wrong he could try and blame ben, though his parents saw straight through it and he got into trouble anyway, still it was fun to try. he grew up in the saddle, riding before he could walk and a love of horses was installed into him when he was young, ben on the other hand if you put him near a horse he'd scream blue murder and run away. so riding remained the monopoly for cooper and his father. since his mother felt the same way about horses as ben did.


    -- he and his brother went to school, thanks to his father's insistence. he wanted coop and ben to learn how to learn away from the farm, and to maybe take up some interests that weren't available to them out on the farm. cooper's heart always was back home, he'd sit in school and think of all the stuff he'd have to do when he got home, run his horse, do his chores on his father's farm and help his dad work the land really. ben however took up the violin, and he was great at it. though cooper didn't think so when his little brother stayed up till all hours of the night practising when he should have really been sleeping. but that was their life, coop grew up loved, doing what he loved, and he grew up knowing that no matter what he did his parents would be proud an dhappy for him. until he announced to his mother at nineteen that he wanted to go ride in rodeos' around america for a year. his father was all for it, but his mother wasnt, it took a while for him to convince her that he would do his best to stay safe, and with that he left flying away from his home and his family to tackle the big country that was america. he loved every second of it.


    -- sure there were some parts he hated, like washing in creeks and rivers when he couldn't afford a hotel, having decided that while he was over there the only time he was going to ask for his parents help was if he was in a hospital, and if that happened he knew he wouldn't have a choice anyway. but after month of sleeping on couches and in the back of trucks and winning money and loosing money, there was one rodeo bull that got the better of him, he was good, but he wasnt a brilliant rider, he was in it more for the fun and the thrill anyway, but one bull got the better of him, and after throwing him, hooked him in the thigh with a horn and flung him into the fence of the arena. he doesn't remember much about what happened, and it took him months to be able to remember the accident, even after watching it over and over on tv it still felt like he was watching someone else ride. well after a week of being unconscious and waking up to his parents anxious faces, cooper decided to come home. the accident left him with a broken thigh bone, 3 months in a cast and a few of pyhsio, but now he's pretty good, walks almost without a limp, can ride till he drops an all he has to show for it is a jagged scar across his thigh.


    -- he learned when he came home that his father had been sick for a while, lung cancer from smoking all his life. apparently they'd found out a while after cooper had left for the states, but his father hadn't wanted to let him know, worried he'd drop his plans and come home to help them. which he would have done. he was mad at his parents for not telling him, for having to deal with it without him, but he soon got over it and stepped up to help look after the farm. his father kept his illness from most of the family too, the only ones that really knew were coop, ethal and ben. coop wanted to tell his family what was going on, knowing they'd help a little but his father was a proud and stubborn mad, too proud and stubborn and he was adamant they'd make it through on their own. coop begged him some of the time to take money from the family to keep the farm from going under, but his father still refused and it kept going down from there. his father couldn't help on the farm, ben was busy with his music and his mother was looking after his father so it was hard for him to keep it all going when he was so young. but he tried.


    -- but six months ago it all changed, his father passed away during the night. they knew it was coming but it still hurt. to have to say goodbye to the man who'd taught him so much and raised him. he couldn't take on the farm on his own, he didn't want to run it without his father, the farm was his father's legacy after all. he felt like a failure for not being able to keep the farm going, so he did the only thing he could think of to keep the farm in the family and keep it afloat, he went to his uncle and his cousin, and asked them if they wanted to use the land, merge the two together. it took a while for kegan to convince his dad to do it, but now it's done and things are looking up. cooper started to go out more, learnt the meaning of party hard now he had the time to do it, his brother ben lives with his mother in town, since she couldnt stand to stay at the house without their father, and she now owns a little bakery on the outskirts where coop drives more than once a week to eat breakfast, ben's finished high school and is travelling around playing his violin and things look like they might settle down for a while. cooper works hard on the ranch by day .. and by night he goes into town, paints it red and comes back for two hours sleep before his day starts, his mother thinks the night time behaviour is destructive and is because of his dad, cooper swears he just wants to have a good time, but he knows his mother is right, he misses his dad but cant say it openly, and the pain he feels about his father being gone, gets masked by the alcohol and the hangovers, so he cant see anything wrong with it. yet.

    personality. Paris is a very friendly woman to be around. She has an unfathomable love for horses and the country and she isn't afraid to show it. She's a very independent, free woman and has high spirits. She doesn't like bad days when things look sad and she's always trying to cheer people up who seem sad. She has a good sense of humor, but there are some times when she can be a bit sarcastic.

    history. Paris grew up around horses. As a child, she lived with her grandparents who brought her up on their farm in the country. She's been in a couple cattle drives and even from a young age she was wrestling with the workers at her grandfather's cattle farm. Paris' parents mistreated her before she could remember and instead of keeping her they gave her to her grandparents. Her father gave her the middle name 'Logan' because that was what they were going to name her if she was a boy. Since she never saw her parents again, she truly doesn't know whether they ended up having another child.


    When Paris turned 13, she wanted to learn how to ride better. Her grandparents let her train at Bear Hill Stables and ever since then she has come to accept it as her second home, save for the farm. It might seem run down, but Paris loves it and she tries to do her best to help keep it working. While she is still a student, Paris is nearly considered a staff member and she is usually volunteered to help show new students around the facilities and get the settled in.

    personality. caleb is a very touchy and romantic guy, he loves beaches and picnics, but has never gone out with a girl. he is sweet and kind, a real soft guy who is protective over the ones he loves, he can become determined to keep you safe, and will eventually become as stubborn as a mule, but he is usually easygoing and funny. he gets hurt easily and doesn't like being left out of important things, but doesn't complain or whine. caleb is also brave and loyal, and he always has faith in you, but not in himself. he can get a little hopeless and lost at times, and that's were his friends come in, he's always been bad with girls, but has the looks to attract some, he doesn't show off or try to do something stupid to get a girl to like him, or anyone for that matter, and is a very "likable" person. caleb is friendly and doesn't shy away from a challenge, he enjoys one every now-and-then, but after a while, he will need some alone time. he often gets bullied because of his softness, and will ignore them, but sometimes they reach a tender subject, and he gets hurt badly by it, that's when he wants alone time, usually with pale moonlight, his mare.

    history. when caleb was thirteen, he was bullied for his shortness and personality, and got so beat up [ in an alley ], he had to be taken to a hospital. he suffered from three broken ribs and a small concussion, but lived [ obviously ]. later, at the age of fifteen, just a year ago, he broke his leg by falling off pale moonlight [ who was eight ], he broke it right in the middle, and was in a cast for a long time, but he lived. then, when he went to a equestrian competition, he watched the dressage competitions, and wanted to learn how to do that. he's here now, determined to learn how to do dressage, and increase his skill on show or hunter jumping.

Her focus has always been on horses than people, but when she knows you and trusts you, she is very protective of you and her friends and family. She is also incredibly sarcastic, many of the things she says has sarcasm in it.

    history. Born in a Michigan hospital, Alex's mother gave her daughter up for adoption as soon as she was born. Alex's father was never in the picture, as they were just a one night stand. Alex was adopted by a loving family who lived at a large ranch in southern Michigan. She grew up happily, always with the horses, and her adopted mother taught her how to ride her horse. As Alex grew, she began to compete in show jumping. When she hit 18 and was out of school, she left her family's home, and got an apartment near Bear Hill stables, and got a nice job near by, that paid fairly well. She bought her own horse and decided to board her horse there.
