    madrid, jaggedclan's herald, collapsed on to the overgrown dry, wild, grass. letting out a breath, he waited for his travel companions to arrive. the day of traveling from jaggedclan to the loner lands had taken it's toll on all of them. so far they haven't met a single friendly cat willing to join jaggedclan. "we will stay here for tonight and continue searching tomorrow. remember, only hurt other cats if absolutely necessary." the open sky was over them, and madrid prayed it wouldn't rain. their conditions weren't much, but none of the cats had the strength to continue.
