Beth sighed. "Every one thinks I'm the bad guy, just because that little brat thinks I'm after her 'boyfriend', even after i helped save her life earlier."
Autumn snorted. "No." she huffed, though she was confused. Beth always took good care of her.

He shrugged, "I guess I'm doing girl" he said glancing at the horse before walking off to the feed room.
Alec looked up from his food and looked at Autumn, "where's Beth?" he asked

"No idea." she snorted. "She seemed upset."

Shey nodded, "I don't get it either, I mean, she's 13 he's like 19 or 20, I thought he would date Tori or you, or even me!" Shey looked over at Beth, "Right?"

Gold sighed and drank the water that was in her stall.

Vincent came back with Autumn's feed, "here you go girl" he said and poured the food into the mare's feed bucket.
Alec shrugged, "yea she probably is" he said and put his head back into the feed bucket.

"Glad to see somebody with some sense." Beth sighed.

Autumn gratefully took the feed. "She's not that bad you know." Autumn said quietly

Vincent patted Autumn's neck before walking away from her stall.
He nodded and said through a mouthful of food "yea, I thought so" he said, "she was just frustrated and upset"

"She's had a tough time recently, but she won't tell anyone. She's like that. Autumn shook her mane as she ate

Alec nodded, "I guessed that, Vincent can be like that too" he said, "not wanting to show he's hurt of upset"

"Yeah. Her mum's got severe depression and her brother's in jail. She works all weekend to get enough money to stay here. Any way, what do you think of Brooke?" she asked curiously

He nodded, "Vincent's parents are divorced, and his mom died of cancer" he said "and Brooke, well not to be mean, but she can be a bit annoying. She's 13, and Vincent is turning 19 so he's not into really dating her"

"I know what you mean. I think Beth has a thing for Vincent too." she admitted

He nodded, "he's like one of the only boys so almost all the girls have a thing for him" he said "though he's not really here to find a girl, but he might be interested" he shrugged "but he might be interested in someone if they're his type"

"They're similar in a way if you think about it." she sighed. "They need to arrange a ride out together." she shook her mane. "I just want Beth to have something that will make her happy."

He nodded, "he would like that, but I don't think Brooke would allow that" he said

"You do realise Beth is starving herself because she won't come down for dinner because of that brat." she snorted in anger

He nodded, "I wish I could help, but I would get in trouble if I tried" he said and gazed down at the lock to his stable door.

"If we could somehow let Vincent know.." she wondered out loud

"know what?" he asked sounding a bit dumb.
