She stared, then nodded in greeting to him also, as soon as he was out of earshot, she sighed, her eyes clouding, her tail drooped, and her ears laid back, her heart felt as if thousands of claws and fangs were sinking into it, a torrent of tears fled from her ears, she turned away and ran out of camp, she skidded to a stop and streaked up the side of a tree and onto the first branch, she lay down, her body shook with emotion, she felt as if betrayed, she shut her eyes tightly and buried her face into her paws and tail.Not caring one bit about the rain...
