    Wolverine said nothing before he grunted, and glared into the windshield.

    Rogue looks at the back of his head, her eyes reflecting the hurt she felt. Logan had always been like a brother to her

    Rogue doesn't say anything and sits down, looking out one of the windows. good to see you again, too, she thinks tartly


    "That's a relief," Clay says in a joking voice. "I wonder what Logan wants to talk about to storm about," he thinks aloud in a quiet voice.

    Kiko nodded as the jet started into the air. "So what have you been doing all this time I've been asleep? Don't tell me you've been watching over me."

    "I wouldn't want to lie to you," Clay says, laughing slightly.


    Rogue looks at Wolverine curiously. why was he so.... Gruff towards her when they had been on the same team for years with hardly any problem?

    Wolverine's teeth gritted as he looked around. The truth was, the stress from S.H.I.E.L.D. was getting to him.


    "You were? That whole time?" Kiko asked, tilting her head slightly.

    "Well, yeah. That's what friends are for, right?" He asks, scratching the back of his neck


    Rogue rests her head on her hands. "So, where is this road trip headin'?" She asks

    Bump!


    Paige rushes through the park, back to where Elizabeth and Arthur were. She finally reaches them, hardly even panting. "Sorry I ran off like that...."

    Arthur looked up, seeing Paige coming towards them. Elizabeth frowned, her face scrunching up in pain and aggravation. "Why did you run of like that?" Arthur asked, his brow furrowing in confusion. "I could have really used your help with Elizabeth. The magic user scoffed. "I need no help!" She hissed at him, her green eyes glaring with irritation at him. Arthur gave her a stern look, but looked back at Paige. "Where did you even go?" He asked, standing up as Elizabeth continued to sit.

    Paige shakes her head. "I don't know.... Why I ran is a mystery to me, but I went to my house...." She says, splitting pain across her mind, though she kept the pain from showing on her face. "Let's get you to wherever help may be. If you want, I can levitate you," she adds.

    Elizabeth's face turned emotionless as she shakily stood up. "I don't need your help." She snapped, her eyes darting over to glare at the telepath, then quickly looked away. Arthur frowned at her. "What's your problem? She's only trying to help, calm down!" He told her sternly. Elizabeth sneered at him, then turned to walk away. "I have some things I need to tend to...and to research." She told them. "Don't bother following unless you plan to help. Other than that, we're done here." She added. Arthur sighed. 'What the bloody hell's gotten into her?' He thought. He turned to Paige. "Do you think we should follow?" He asked.


    Fred watched from a reasonable distance, smirking as he watched Elizabeth stagger off. 'Soon my dear...soon you will know.'



    I hope everyone's Christmas will be very happy and pleasant!

    Paige watches Elizabeth walk away before looking back at Arthur. The sun glinted off her hair, giving it a red tint. "I'm not sure..." she says, closing her eyes for a second. Freds words still echoed in her mind. "Yes," she says finally, nodding her head.

    Elizabeth made her across the park, deep in thought. One hand still held her wound, a faint green glow around her hand as she healed it, while she looked at the other in surprise. 'What sort of magic did he use to turn my arm blue like that? I've never seen anything like it...and it got colder...' "It was no magic, my dear." Elizabeth stopped and whirled around, seeing Fred standing there with a pained smirk. "What did you do!? What magic allowed you to turn my arm blue like that?!" The magician smiled coyly. "It wasn't magic." He said again. Elizabeth glared at him. "I don't believe you." She spat. "Then let me show you."


    Arthur could feel a headache coming on. "I suppose we should follow...she's bound to get into trouble if we don't." He said, looking at Paige.

    Paige looks in Elizabeth's direction, her eyes wide. "Somebody has as already found her," she says darkly, a certain person coming to mind. An invisible energy forms around her hands as she starts to run over.

    Arthur's pale green eyes widened. "What!? Who!?" He asked as he shifted into a timber wolf and ran beside Paige.


    Elizabeth gave him a smirk, green eyes narrowing. "Show me? I don't think so." She said, pulling a throwing dagger from her long coat. Fred sighed. "Fine, if that's the way it's going to be." He replied, his own grey eyes narrowing. He disappeared and reappeared behind her, grabbing her wrist and wrapping the other around the front of her neck. She gasped in surprise, as he twisted her wrist, making her dagger fall. She grabbed his arm that was around his neck, a grimace on her face. "You are not who you think, child." He told her. Elizabeth could feel some sort of magic flow through her from him. She glanced down, seeing her arm start to turn blue again. Fred released her, smirking. Elizabeth gasped for breath, staring at her arms and hands, eyes wide.

    Paige skids to a halt, seeing Fred. "You!" She hisses, eyes narrowed into green slits. She slowly starts to rise up into the air,raw power surging through her hands as she raised them. "Step away from her!" She says, her voice sounding like a yell, though it wasn't as loud.

    Ooc: okay. So, I had a timeskip with kiko, clay, and rob and they are on the jet to africa with wolverine, jean, scot, beast, nightcrawler, and rogue who snuck on. Elizabeth is on the merge of figuring out that she is part frost giant because of fred and paige and arthur are trying to save her *pant*

    IC: Fred turned his attention to Paige and Arthur, his smile slowly turning into a frown. He back away from Elizabeth slowly, glaring at the two. He put his hands up in a surrendering motion, a coy smile making it way onto his face. "As you wish..." He said, taking a few more steps back. Arthur growled at him, barring his fangs at the man.


    Elizabeth looked over at him, her once green eyes now red, glaring at him. She swiftly stood up and turned to face him. "What did you do? What have you done to me!?" She snapped demandingly. Fred chuckled. "I have done nothing, but show you your true heritage."
