Lurkpaw sank to the ground, laying down. "This is a lot. I need to go think. I'll come back here tomorrow at sundown." The dark brown apprentice slowly padded out of the clearing as if the weight of the words were on her shoulders. She headed to a small pond on Caveclan territory. She layed down, deep in thought. There were dry leaves on the ground, and her paw rested on one. When she thought about the fact that she has fire powers, the leaf caught fire. She jumped back, surprised. She thought about how to put it out, and it went out. [i]This is amazing! she thought. She made a small pile of leaves and twigs, and it caught fire at her will. She felt great, better than ever, when there was a fire near.

IC: Earthpaw nodded to Tawnypaw. "Goodbye." He meowed. When everyone had left he cringed as he felt a deep pain in his head. Then lightning tree spoke to him. "Do not worry, Paws of Earth." It cooed. "The Paws of Fire is simply testing out her ability." Earthpaw's head throbbed and he staggered up the old tree. "Why does my head throb though?" The tree laughed. "Paws of Fire is burning leaves. Leaves are the sons and daughters of the trees. Their pain is linked to the trees, which is then linked to you." It explained. Earthpaw simply whimpered. "So every time she burns something related to trees, I get a headache?" The tree swayed in the wind, almost as if it were nodding. "But you will grow to learn that it is just pain and cannot hurt you."
