"John, of course." She said, surprised that he hadn't instantly known who she'd ben referring to.

His body froze as she stared at her

"I froze your thread because I wanted the death deity to be you instead but my sisters won't help me make the change." She said

"What? No! He's already dead. I just cut the frozen thread!" She snapped, not understanding why he, like her sisters, was angry at her

They both looked distressed. "Atropos cut John's life thread." Clotho said

"She spouted some story about wanting James to take over so she cut John's thread. He's in his afterlife." Lachesis said

" Get him back!" She cried

"It's not that simple. We can't just repair a thread once a soul goes to the afterlife. If you want him back, we'll have to go there ourselves and find him." Clotho said
