I stepped besides him, slipping my hand into his and rubbing his knuckle soothingly.

I bit my lip, almost moving closer to him, but it hurt too much to move. I groaned in pain. -
I rubbed his knuckles soothingly. "Shh, don't move." I soothed.

I started to sob, holding on to his shirt tightly. -
I rubbed his arms soothingly. "Shh, it's okay baby." I said softly, kissing his temple softly.

It didn't really soothe me at all, I just kept sobbing. -

That didn't really help much either. I started to hyperventilate, and it hurt because one of my ribs was broken. -
I sighed softly. "Niall, please, listen to me, okay? Deep breaths, I'm here now, you are safe." I said softly.
