Roseeye, fairly new to the life of the warriors, went off hunting alone. She got into a fight with a fox and the fox came out on top. She lied on the ground unable to walk on her own with her back leg badly damaged. With a sigh she she licked her wound clean and waited for the next patrol to stumble across her.

Mousetail wandered the forest, ignoring the scent of prey. He had been insulted by apprentices. Him! A warrior, insulted by apprentices! He was one of the better warriors at stalking his prey, locating it from far away, and rarely failing to capture his desired prey. During this walk, however, he was not interested in prey. He was interested in making his way to the sunningrocks to have some peace and quiet.
The sharp scent of a cat's blood reached Mosuetail's scent pallet. Assuming that there was a dispute at a border patrol, he made his was towards the scent.
-
Roseeye scented the smell of one of her own warriors. She let out a small meow hoping they would hear her and help her back to the camp.
-
Mousetail heard a faint meow, and recognized the voice and scent as belonging to Roseeye. "Roseeye?" the tom called out, tentative.
-
"Mousetail!" She meowed excitedly.
-
"Roseeye!" Mousetail ran for his fellow warrior, and stumbled upon a startling scene. "What happened, Roseeye?" he asked, leaning down to offer his flank as support for the wounded warrior.
-
Roseeye lifted herself up as much as she could and leaned onto Mousetail. "I got into a fight with a Fox.." She mumbled. "I thought I could win.."
-
"We're too young to be messing with foxes just yet," Mousetail scolded gently. "Let's get you back to camp." The young tom pressed his weight to hold the she-cat up, and slowly began to walk forward.
-
"I know... but I felt like I could beat him.." She mumbled.
-
Mousetail nodded. "You're brave, I'll give you credit for that, he meowed. "However, you're slightly flea brained!" he added with a purr. Nearing the camp barrier, Mousetail realized it would be rather difficult for Roseeye to make it through the entrance tunnel.
-
Roseeye could sense his concern. "You could drop me here and just fetch the Medicine cat."
-
Mousetail pondered this for several heart beats, then nodded to his companion. Lowering her to the ground gently, he purred, "Alright, Roseeye." He eyed her with concern, then turned and ran into the tunnel to main camp.
OOC I'll post the thread from the medicine den here for you, and I'll see if they want us there or if they want to come to this thread. We can have them wait here too, after they've been notified, so we don't have to stop RPing till they get to us.
-
"Thank you" Roseeye purred. She lied on the ground and waited for help.
OOC: Okay:D
-
-
Mousetail pushed his way back through the tunnel. "One of the medicine cats should be right behind me," he meowed, giving Roseeye a lick on one ear, trying to sound reassuring.

[size=8]Saffronpaw was the first one here so it seemed, carrying a bundle of cobwebs, marigold, and a tiny bit of goldenrod. "Next time, report it to Witchingstar so she could organize a patrol to go after the fox. You know leafbare, we have to scrape by the herbs we collected in the beginning," the silver mackeral said with a huff, chewing on the marigold and goldenrod combined so that it made a poultrice that healed and prevented infection. Her formula was about 80% marigold and 20% goldenrod, taped on with cobwebs.
Taking it out, she aimed to paste it onto the wound, then seal it down with cobwebs.
-
"Good." Roseeye purred. "Thank you so much."
-
Mousetail nodded. "I'll go report it soon here," he meowed to the medicine cat apprentice. "Thank you for your help, though." He licked Roseeye again, watching his Clanmate apply the herbs to his friend.
-
Roseeye looked up with admiration to Mousetail. "Thank you" she purred. "You saved my life."
-
Mousetail purred with laughter. "If I hadn't been aggravated by some pesty apprentices, I wouldn't have gone for a walk. So, I guess we can thank them."
