By the stream.

    Smoothpaw sat by the small stream and lapped at the water. she waited for someone to come over to the stream so she could make a new friend. she has little friends but is fine with that. little or no friends didn't bother her but she's kinda shy.

    Diamond had strayed to far into the woods, she stopped by a stream were she found another cat,"Hello." she said,"Can you tell me where i am?"

    Smoothpaw looked up and nodded. " you are at the stream, why?" she asked. she sniffed the air for her scent. " are you thunderclan?"

    Smoothpaw bristled a little. " are you a loner?" she asked unsheathing her claws.


    OOC: in other words cuz i can't tell the diff. her claws are out.

    "No! I live in my home with my housefolk." she said,"But they left, so yes, i guess i am."

    Smoothpaw calmed down. she put her claws away and said, " what's a kittypet like you doing out in the woods anyway?"

    "I-I don't know." she said, "My family left me, they took the dog, such a stupid dog!" she said sliding her claws into the dirt.

    Smoothpaw smiled. " nice name. I'm Smoothpaw. " she said. " so you don't have any were else to go do you?" she asked.

    Smoothpaw brushed her back with her tail. " well, maybe if we ask my leader, you could be a Thunderclan cat!" she said hopefully.

    Smoothpaw smiled. " I'm in Thunderclan, one of the four clans in the forest. we have a leader, a deputy, queens, elders, kits, warriors and apprentices! I'm an apprentice." she said.

    "Oh, i think i might have heard of you, the other cats call you wild cats, do you really eat bones?" she asked.

    Smoothpaw laughed. " of course not! we eat mice and birds and prey similar to that. we all live together in camp. it's the best life a cat could have!" she said proudly.

    "Oh, then i would love to come see if i may be a part of your clan." she said to smoothpaw.

    Smoothpaw smiled. " don't believe in rumors." she said. she got up and began to follow the trail that led to camp. " coming?" she called to diamond.
