Leon was asleep in the trees lying on a tree branch. He was lying on his stomach fast asleep. His arms and legs dangled off the branch and his golden brown dappled wings were extended.

Sam walked below some trees. She looked up and saw Leon. She didn't say anything but she sat and watched him.
-
Leon yawned and tried to adjust his position on the tree branch, but slipped off. "Ack!" he yelped as he landed on the ground on his back. "Ouch..."
-
She looked at Leon with horror in her eyes. "Oh my gosh, are you OK?" she asked, sounding concerned.
-
Leon sat up slowly. "I'm okay..." He spread his wings and moved them to make sure he wasn't hurt. He didn't feel any pain. "Yeah, I'm okay." He looked up at the girl with his blue eyes. His brown hair was messy and now dusty from his fall.
-
She ran over and helped him up.
-
"Thanks," he said standing up.
-
"No problem. and do you like sleeping in trees?" she asked, curious. She always slept on the ground.
-
"Yeah. It makes me feel... safer," Leon explained.
-
"Hmm. I usually sleep on the ground." she said, looking into his eyes.
-
Leon scratched the back of his. "Really? I get paranoid when I sleep on the ground." He stared into the girl's eyes too.
-
"Why would you get paranoid?" she asked, not breaking away from his gaze.
-
"Um... Well, a lot of things happen when you're on the ground. You know Erasers and such could easily attack you or there could be traps on the ground.... I'm just more comfortable in trees..." Leon looked down feeling embarrassed.
-
"Yeah, your right. I should sleep in trees. It is more safer." she said, also looking away.
-
Leon nodded. "Oh, um... My name's Leon. What's yours?" he said looking back up at her.
-
"Sam. Nice to meet you Leon." she said and stuck out her hand shyly.
-
Leon took her hand. "Nice to meet you too."
-
For some reason she didn't want to let go. She blushed and put her hand in her pockets. She looked down.
-
Leon realized he'd held her hand for a long time and blushed looking away.
-
She was really shy for a girl. She still looked down and shuffled her feet.
