    Bluewish, starspeckle and dewpaw stood by the frozen water. The three were siblings, starspeckle a med cat. Bluewish stuck her paw out on the ice, testing how much it could hold.
    She drew her paw back in surprise. "Wow, that's cold!"
    Dewpaw, a brown tabby tom, felt excited to get onto the ice. He fizzed with impatience. "Can I go on it yet?"

    Little Jaypaw had heard everything that's going on.Letting out a loud yowl she jumped right on the ice but when she did her paws slid out from under her and she landed on her chin.

    He jumpe on the ice, sliing around. "Wheee!" He spun in circles.

    Aya came to the frozen lake. Woah. She murmured staring at the ice.

    "I promise you, Snakestar: I'll lead FireClan well." ~ Shadeforest during nine lives ceremony.

    He slid into the snow face first, tail dangling. "Mousedung," he said, voice muffled. Bluewish purred, sliding over to help he brother, starspeckle following. They tugged him out by the tail.

    "Turaco, isn't this fun?" she asked her brother. Slipping and sliding on the ice, she ended up near the middle. "It's a bit scary,"she muttered.

    "Whoa-oa-oaaaaa!" A small reddish she-cat streaked with ginger and gold skidded across the frozen river much too fast and went flying, landing on her belly, sides heaving. Icepaw, a white tom and the she-cat's brother, appeared from a snowdrift and called out, "Blazepaw? Are you ok?" But Blazepaw's sides were heaving with laughter. "You should totally try this!" She giggled. Her other sibling, Batpaw, poked his head out beside Icepaw. "I'll try," He decided. Stepping forwards, he tentatively put one black paw on the ice. Instantly he lost his footing. the grey-and-black tom's paw slipped forwards, forcing his body onto the ice. "Ahh!" His legs wobbled as he tried to stay upright, but eventually fell over next to Blazepaw, laughing his head off. "See? It's fun!" purred Blazepaw. Batpaw added, "Yeah, c'mon, Icepaw!" Icepaw held his breath and charged straight on. Paws sliding away from him as if with a mind of their own, he frantically clawed for a grip and started spinning around and around like a whirlwind of snow.

    Dewpaw looked at the kit, shaking snow off his head. His head tilted to the side.
    Starspeckle gazed at the kit.

    "Nice to meet you, Livekit," dewpaw said, smiling politely. "Want to race on the ice?"
