The kitten yelled into the nursery room, 'eyebrows' slanted downwards as she huffed and angrily stomped the floor, "You promised we'd play six seconds ago! If we ever want to end up Leader and Deputy like we planned, you need to be much more punctual!" The calico scolded. From an adult's point of view, this would've been like a roleplay - fun and games, but really, Annie meant every word she said.

"I have the mossball ready and everything. My leg's getting better too, so maybe we can play some running games again soon!" Ever since the incident her leg had been horrible shattered, and with the stick bound to it she had very limited freedom until Bombshellblonde - her idol - had freed it and just told Annie to be careful.

    [b]"You can eat later, fatty!"

The pale tom lifted his head, finishing off his meal before looking over at the bold female with a quivering smile. " O-Okay Annie. " Gabrielle wasn't one to stutter, especially not around his dear friend; but she really had caught him off guard. Raising himself off of the ground, the skittish male padded over, trying his best to make himself look more confident. Annie was a charming lass, bold and bright, one would say fearless, but Gabrielle... He was none of those, intelligent, yes, but none found him to be charming or courageous, much the opposite in fact. Fluttering his long wispy eye lashes, his orange orbs nervously inspecting the moss ball. " This better not end up as a one sided fight again, " Gab said, some what flustered, " I smelt like moss for days after the last time we played. "

He cracked a smile, despite Annie's injuries she could sure pack a punch. " Here I come " the tabby said, swatting the moss ball over to the energised calico.

Quickly limping over to where the ball would be, her paw connected with it just in time, swatting it back to her friend with glimmering eyes. Annie didn't really have any other friends that were her age, especially ones who dealt with her prowess and ego. Little did the she-kit know she would become very sweet and caring, but for now, it was all competition - not friendly competition - and fun.

The round ball of moss was thrown higher then expected, so the male was required to jump to hit it back, only to get it caught on one of his claws. how embarrassing.. The tabby curved his lips in a nervous smile, and threw the ball back in an attempt to distract Annie from commenting on his little event; if she even saw it that was. But then again, there was little that got past the calico. Waiting for the ball to be returned, Gabrielle relaxed his shoulders, trying to get his heart beat back into a constant rhythm, he was after all a constant nervous wreck. Anxiety chewed away at the young male, not that he really noticed it though. He just thought it was apart of his personality. Crouching low in preparation, Gabrielle once more fluttered his long eye lashes, such feminine strands of hair which suited his personality quite nicely, but not so much on the physical aspect. He was large for his age, much larger then any of the kits in the nursery. If he desired, he could very well beat up any who dared pick on him, but, he didn't. He was far to soft for such things, far too forgiving.
