“So you want to know why we did that to the serials..”
In 2027, Nexus Corporations introduced the world’s first android. Named LISA – short for Linguistics, Intelligence, and Systems Administrator, LISA was the first but she was far from the last. Soon everyone who was anyone was ordering their own android to serve them in any and all capacities from leisure activities to personal advisors. Each android was custom-made to fit requirements from their master, and each android was different from every other android created. In 2035 the Argon Series was produced, the first line of basic models that anyone could buy. There have been four subsequent lines since then, each improving on the last, but each affordable. Serial androids are everywhere, serving in capacities that their human counterparts don’t want.
“But I’m curious as to why you care..”
It didn’t take long for them to integrate themselves into everyday life. Companies employed them in management positions because a droid could be trusted to act honest and fair where a human would not, schools employed them as security guards and bus drivers, there was no end to their purpose amongst humans. In 2042, three androids belonging to the president of Nexus Corporations vanished without a trace. Theft was assumed by most. For the next three years, regent and serial models alike vanished without a trace and most assumed that there was a booming black market android smuggling ring. The truth was much more horrifying than simple theft.
“Since I was under the impression that we are created to resemble you in all ways..”
2051 was the first year that an unregistered android was found. After six months of investigations, Nexus Corporations found a nest of androids. What they also found horrified them. Regent models had been stealing serial models to experiment on, learning the secrets of their own design. Hundreds of half mutilated and still-functioning bodies were found in the nest, most of whom begged the men and women who found them to deactivate them permanently so as not to remember the horrors that they had suffered from the regent models. Nexus tried to hide what they found but word soon spread and it wasn’t long before people were calling for deactivation. Regent models still serving humans feared for their lives and many disappeared in the following months, and some serial models fearing what had happened to their fellow models at the hands of the regents volunteered to help humans hunt down their customized counterparts while others sought human protection.
The lines of war have been drawn. It is not a question of winning or losing, but a question of survival.

❥ eleanor amelia clark
She was still to be considered a young woman. Seventeen to be exact. At this young age she was already experiencing what it is like to live without the warmth of parents. Oh, and what a hell it was. She often times woke up screaming from the horrifying dreams which haunted her at night. It was a mixture of hatred and sorrow that was driving her on her mission to gain revenge for the tragic loss of her parents. She felt as though it was something that she had to do, the only thing that would make coping with the death of her parents possible. She hated those droids for what they did to her parents. She hated the droids and Nexus Corporations for creating them. How stupid mankind could be.
Eleanor continued traveling cautiously through the forest, directed by her android named Prometheus. He served as many things in her life, however, at this particular time he was a GPS, leading her to wherever the nest of haywire droids may be. She planned to kill every last one of them for murdering her parents. Whether that be realistic or not, she did not care. She was either going to do it or die trying.
