Hopestar woke up. "Swallowkit...?" She murmured. She padded back to camp. She looked for Featherfoot.

Ripplewing noidded back to echostar as she left and went back with hopestar. he wondered who teh deputy would be. he missed echosatr. his old mentor, his mate, his life. now she was gone. he wondered how he would live.

Hopestar stood on the high ledge. "All cats of IceClan gather!"

Featherfoot walked up to highrock.
Swallowkit stood at the enterance of the nursery.

Hopestar yowled again.
Hawkscreech joined with Mapleheart.
Hopestar cleared her throat. "I am now Hopestar." She announced. "I will be in my den. If you think you are worthy of being Deputy, come see me." She meowed. -

Swallowkit watched Hopestar.I hope I will be able to be an apprentice soon.she thought.

Ripplewing padded into her den. "I wopuld like to be deputy, but i undertsnad if you dont pick me."

Hopestar narrow her eyes. "You're a little attatched to Echostar, are you not? I have a ceremony to do but I will be open afterwords." she stepped out of her new den. "Swallowkit!"

he shook his head. hgewasnt that attached to echostar. he just wanted to be deputy but he got over it quick and raced outto the meeting. hw sat near the new leader.

Swallowkit walked out of nusery."Yes Hopestar?"she askedDid I do something wroung?she wondered.

"Swallowkit and Tobi step up." Hopestar called, her voice loud and clear.

Hopestar sighed and walked into her den.
