Emma glanced back at Julian, giving him a reassuring smile. "You okay, Jules?" she asked in concern. "You're way quieter than you should be. C'mon let's sit over here," she said, pulling him over tot he table beside a couple of their friends.
"This way, Ty," Livia commanded, taking her brother's hand as she moved confidently towards a bench at the table. She stopped to smile and wave at Celia and then tried not to stare at the enormous blue bull in the dining hall. Sometimes, she really questioned the Headmaster's sanity, but Mark liked him so that was good enough for her.
"Hey guys," Drusilla said to Maisie and Thomas. "Mind if I sit next to you?"
Helen sighed as she sat down, looking longingly up at the teacher's tables to Mark. Before he had graduated, the two had always sat together for meals, but now she didn't get to do that anymore.
"Yeah, let's sit," Cristina said, nodding to Jaime as she watched Julian and Emma. The pair had always been close, but she really didn't know what was going on with them these days. It made her want to give them their space.
