• Jack rolled his eyes.

"I'm sure the possible concussion is completely worth upholding your pride and image." He said sarcastically, but he wasn't going to forcs her to leave if she didn't want to. The fight was starting to get really violent- as much as he really hated the guy right now, though, he couldn't help but cringe in empathetic pain as Sakura landed a literal low blow.

    Mihael Keehl (Mello)
Mello snarled, though a glint of that sadistic grin showed it in.

"Likewise." He snapped, before pulling back a fist for another punch. It was interrupted by a harsh hiss of pain, white exploding in his vision for a split second. He curled in on himself slightly, swallowing any and all groaning, but unable to recover quickly as he would've liked.

"D-damn..." He muttered, before, glaring at Sakura, he aimed to strike her with his elbow, though his aim was a good bit off.

  • Layla blinked, and frowned. "No." She said. And continued looking around, her eyes landed on the fight. This was getting out of hand..seriously. "Jack, we gotta stop this. C'mon you have to help me." she. "With something! We need to stop it..." she added. Then she spotted the coach who..still didn't notice? "Forgive me Sakura. Alright jack time to get the coach."

Kiki looked over to Alaska, "Your fine? Your fine! Alaska the back of your head is cracked open!" she fussed. She wasn't sure why, herself, was fussing about this. But for some reason she was, she gave Alaska a sort of mean look.

Sakura laughed as she rolled out from under him and jumped on top, a knee on his lower back and a hand on his throat, holding him on his stomach. She pressed his face into the ground and tightened her grip. "Boys are so fragile in places," she snickered, "Told you not to fuck with my friends." She grabbed hold of his hair again and forced him to look at her. Her eyes were wide and that creepy grin plastered on her face. "You get that? If you mess with my friends again, I swear I'll make you wish you didn't." Her voice a whisper only he could hear.

"It's just a cut!" Alaska snapped, though she knew it was more than that. The headache that raged through her

  • Jack had been just about to comment when Mr. Heath turned towards the group. He was sticking some sort of black device in his pocket- almost like a phone, but not quite.

"Er.... Too late." He muttered, as Mr. Heath made his way over purposefully, a glare on his face.

    Mihael Keehl (Mello)
Mello cringed, still sore, as Sakura pinned him down, but as Pinkie yanked on his hair again, he met her glare evenly, fierce though slightly glazed blue eyes boring into her burning pink ones.

".. Guess you're not as much of a wimpy c*** as I thought." Was his only response, as he spit in her face as well. It was hardly seconds later that a huge, powerful hand grabbed Sakura's arm, dragging her effortlessly to her feet. The next arm pulled Mello off the ground, both teens kept a good distance from each other. Mr. Heath had finally arrived, he supposed.

"Fighting on school grounds. Unacceptable." The man was scarier-sounding talking at normal volume than when he yelled. A fierce look of anger was on his face as he glared at all six of them- Mello, Sakura, Jack, Layla, Kiki, and Alaska.

"All of you- report to the office. Now. I will have the nurse notified as well." He dragged Mello and Sakura towards the building, not at all planning to let them go unaccompanied. Jack followed silently, walking alongside the girls as Mr. Heath led the way. Mello was seething, his fists clenched so tightly his nails dug into his palms. He sent periodic glares Sakura's way, though a swift jerk of the arm from Mr. Heath put a quick end to that.

As they reached the doors, Mr. Heath shoved the pair inside, pushing the others inside after.

"The office is just down the hall. The principal is already expecting you." And with that, he returned to his actual class. Mello glared Sakura's way, before starting forward, in seething silence.

(Typing on my 3DS, so my posts are a bit crappy...)

  • Layla stumbled as she was pushed roughly into the gym. She rubbed her arm, a thing she would do if she wa scared, sad, or hopeless. She looked at Jack, trying to hold back tears. Her first day and she gets in trouble, big time. The young girl scrunched up her face as a few tears happened to escape her eyes.

Kiki was furious! She turned to Sakura, "What the hell is wrong with you! Why couldn't you just stop! Why couldn't you!? Now we all might get expelled! Punished! Who knows what! Damn you Sakura! We were perfectly fine whiteout you going overboard!!" she yelled. Turning on her heels, "I get it, you wanted to protect us..but a little too much. Learn to control yourself." she muttured. Stomping her foot. "It's not her fault!" Layal yelled with a scrawny cracked voiced from tears. "Sakura was only being a friend! I would of done the same if I could! So you just shut up!"

Sakura scowled at Kiki as she yelled at her for something she couldn't control. She had gone back to her calmer personality and rubbed her arm, looking at the ground in shame. She's never told her friends about her personality disorder, because it's never truely come up. She's never snapped like this before. She bit the inside of her cheek, only to wince as the bruised area moved and sent pain through her jaws. "I'm sorry," she said quietly, her pink hair falling in her face and hiding her expression.

She couldn't control herself sometimes, and with no one like Mello around in the past years, she's never had to worry about someone pushing her over the edge into that crazy personality she was so afraid of herself. "I'm sorry..." she whispered again before pushing past Kiki and running out of the locker room, her bag over her shoulder and already changed out of her dirty gym clothes.

Alaska had finally been forced to go to the nurses office, for the bleeding and the headache wouldn't stop. She looked around for the nurse with a hand to the back of her head to make the bleeding slow slightly. "Umm... Nurse?" she asked, looking around. So much for her new and cutesy outfit. Her tights were ripped and her white shirt dirty and blood dotted the back of it.

  • Kiki looked back at Sakura as she apologized, this was new. Sakura never acted like that ever before, the teen quickly go out of the sweaty uniform and changed back into her skinny jeans with sweater and hoodie. She stopped short as Sakura pushed passed her, the white haired girl rolled her eyes. And walked out, walking down the hall.

Layla wiped her eyes and ran into the girl's locker room. She quickly changed and stepped out, pulled her pink and blue hair over her shoulders. She wiped her runny nose and eyes, still sobbing and quivering. She watched as Sakura and Kiki disappeared down the hall. "Jack...I don't wanna go see the principal who knows whats gonna happen." she mumbled to the albino teen.

  • ((I just realized I kinda shot us in the foot metaphorically... They're going to the principal, whom Pup roleplays... but she's not on. Maybe we could just have the vice principal, Mr.... whatever I called him (I'll check in a second), administer discipline))

Jack changed out of his gym clothes quicker than most, at least already out by the time Layla emerged from the girls' locker room, crying. He approached her, a sympathetic look in his eyes.

"C'mon, Layla... It won't be that bad. I mean, it's only our first issue, and we were hardly even a part of it." He smiled. "It'll be fine." He reassured, as he began walking after the others, hopefully with Layla following.

    Mihael Keehl (Mello)

((Brb, I'm headed to watch Sea of Monsters with my little sister and my dad))

  •
    {and I'm heading to the mall to watch Thor 2 for the second time with mine soon :)}

Sakura hadn't gone far after running off. "She won't be the one that gets in the most trouble," she muttered as she walked over, and only walking over because Kiki wasn't there to yell at her anymore. Her eyes were a bit bloodshot from crying earlier. "I'll be getting in trouble. And so will Mello."

  • Layla watched Jack watch off, she then pushed herself off the wall and ran after them. Walking beside jack as she wiped her eyes for the last time. They were red and puffy, but she stopped her sobs. She bowed her head down as she dragged her shoes against the floor. "Sakura...you won't get in trouble. You will but not bad..I'll make sure of that." she said.

Kiki looked over at them. Sakura was crying? She shook her head a little an walked in silence. Twiddling with her fingers in front of her. "I didn't mean to yell at you." she muttured. Then said it again louder so the link haired girl could hear.

  • Jack, left with almost nothing to say, remained silent, not really wanting to accidentally say something wrong.

    Mihael Keehl (Mello)

Mello had changed ahead of everyone- practically ripping off the god-damned uniform that got him ticked off in the first place- and slipping back into his usual leather. He put his coat back on as well, but he didn't bother closing it. He was already in deep shit. His clothes wouldn't make anything any worse than they already were.

Stalking forward, ahead of everyone, he was completely tuning out their words. He wasn't even attempting to hide his anger, but at the very least he wasn't throwing any more punches. For now. He knew what- or who- would be waiting when they got there.

  •
"It's not that," Sakura said to Kiki as she looked away and put her hands in her pockets. "It's not that you yelled at me, because I know I deserved that. I lost control, I needed some sense smacked into me." She caught movement in the corner of her eye and turned her head slightly so it wasn't blurry. Mello was walking out of the boys' locker room. She couldn't help but feel her muscles tighten and ball her hands into fists. "Hey Mello," she shouted, pure courage driving her now, "Sorry 'bout the kick to the crotch. That was out of line of me to do."

    #willowlook

  • Mello blinked, honestly a bit caught off guard as Sakura's call broke him out of his thoughts. He turned back, stopping a moment, to face her- had she just apologized to him? Odd- usually it was him being forced to apologize... Whatever. He could still see her fists clenched. She was obviously still just as pissed as he was.

"I had you pinned, and we were both pissed. Shit happens." Okay, so in his [sixteen] years, that was shockingly enough the closest he'd ever come to accepting an apology. In his opinion, that was a special effort, and as close as he would ever get.

  •
Sakura chuckled, I clenching her fists slightly and letting them hang by her sides limply. She turned towards him, spinning on her heel, and the large bruise he had left on her chin flashed into view like a beacon. "That's right. Shit happens. Hope this doesn't ruin the rest of our year together. Or this is gonna suck." With that, she glanced at Layla and Kiki with a smile before walking off, passing Mello in the process and her shoulder bumping into his. "Sorry," she said, stretching out the word as if it was sarcastic before entering the hall where her locker was located.

  • Mello eyed the bruise for a moment, hardly showing any reaction except for an inward reminder of just how hard he could punch. As she bumped past him however, he gritted his teeth, glaring after Sakura before stalking after her.

"Hey!" He snapped, stopping right in front of her. He glared at her, seeming about to say something.. but it seemed to take a bit of a long moment for it to come out. Before it could, however, a strict, unfamiliar- to all but the blonde himself, that was- voice sounded.

"Mihael." He cringed, giving Sakura another glare, before sighing. A man dressed rather officially, with a suit and a sharp black cut, stood at the opposite end of the locker hallway, an air of authority seeming to eminate solely off of his reprimending glare.. pointed straight at Mello, it seemed. The blonde met the gaze for only a moment, with a glare even sharper, before he went to join the man. Just as he passed Sakura, however, a single word breezed past his lips. Hardly audible, almost quiet enough to make her think she had imagined it.

    "Sorry."

As the blonde stopped next to the older man, it almost looked like some sort of psuedo family moment. Mello's gaze was anywhere but the man's as he spoke- quietly so the other teens couldn't hear- it was almost like a child being reprimended by a parent. Then it was over, as the man led Mello away, giving a nod of farewell to the other teens. As they were out of normal earshot, the man walked beside Mello, speaking normally.

"I can't pretend there isn't a problem forever, Mihael. You only have so many chances before there isn't anyone left to catch you. Your mother-" A swift, but very firm look- not quite a glare, but just as effective- was reminder enough. "Miss Dante," The look ended, "was kind enough to keep you out of juvenile hall the first time, but you can't count on any judge's pity if it comes to that again." Mello's glare was, shockingly enough, much less existant, now just a sour edge to an almost thoughtful or faraway gaze.

"I don't want any damn pity, anyway. That old hag only bailed me because of pity, and now I'm stuck with her. A man with a gun didn't shoot me for pity, and look where that left me." His tone was as biting as ever, though. The man sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose.

"And that led to yet another fight today?" Mello gave a sharp nod, unwilling to change his standing even if it wasn't completely true. "You can't just try to scare everyone off, and expect to walk away off the hook. Getting into more trouble isn't going to make myself and your past problems leave you alone anytime soon. You're just going to dig yourself deeper until you'll never be able to get out again." Edgy sarcasm filled Mello's voice.

"I thought I was already in hell. Didn't know you could go any lower." A sharp look was turned on Mello.

"If you don't pull your head out of the gutter, you are no better than those criminals that dragged you down, Mihael-"

"Stop it." Mello hissed, almost ferally. "Stop calling me that." The man kept his mouth shut, gaze unreadable as he watched the teen. "I don't want to hear your psychological shit anymore." He sighed. Mello did this each time they talked. The time it took for him to snap was the only thing that changed each time, sometimes longer, sometimes shorter. He nodded curtly, his voice becoming businesslike again.

"That's strike one. You will serve your due consequences as mandated by the school. And I don't want to hear about any more issues after this." Mello still hadn't looked up at the man, not once, but he nodded regardless.

"Yes, sir, Nate." And with that, Nate nodded, walking off as Mello turned for the office... which was conveniently right nearby. He frowned, annoyance in his gaze. The bastard. A slick bastard, but a bastard nonetheless. He knocked on the door- at no response, even to his rather loud banging, he conckuded the man wasn't in, and sat down on the bench beside the door. Presumably, the others might join him eventually, but he was just fine sitting alone.

((OwO OMIGOD THAT WAS SUPER LONG!!!!!! And is it weird I'm envisioning (and my mind seems to be shaping the story this way, since the majority of this post was winging it) that Nate the parole officer is probably closer to Mello than his adoptive mother ever will be? Idk, it just came out that waty... AND NO THE NAME MEANT NOTHING!! I was just going through adult names in my head, and I was looking for one that sounded like it would fit tlmy mental image of Nate (a yfairly young guy, late twenties to fmid-thirties)), and would still sound right when Msllo called him by his first name, and... Nate just seemed to fit.

Jeez, I haven't spouted like that in a LONG tims...))

  • OOC: :)

Layla turned to white haired teen, "Jacky? What's wrong? You seem down.." she said with a soft concern. She had finally let go of her arm. And actually walked normally instead of hunched over in sobs. Yeah she felt...terrible, but was feeling better. She gave a sly smile and lightly nudged the boy's arm with her elbow then looked away and started to purposely whistle like nothing happened. Then poked his side and whistled obliviously again. But the pink haired teen couldn't help but let a giggle escape. Layla stopped a little as she watched Mello talk to the parol officer. Though she couldn't hear any of it..she was still curious. She would cringe every time she heard a curse, one downside about being friends with Sakura..the words, the harsh, harsh words. Then teen always seemed to tense up at the swears.

Kiki blinked and watched Sakura, she brought he eyelids down and nodded. As Sakura started to talk to Mello, however, the teen had a truly awful thought. What if sometime in the future Sakura ended up dating Mello? That'd be....rather disturbing. The sixteen year old shook her head and his her face in her hood as this blonde guy started to have a silent conversation with Mello. She knew the guy was somone important and dangerious and didn't want to be caught dead. She caught up with the pace of Sakura, who seemed to be walked rather quickly. "You actually apologized? Well...wait, he apologized?"

  • Jack smiled as Layla walked up, though he aas still a bit on the quiet side.

"The air's just a bit.. tense, I guess." As she nudged his arm, he gave her an odd look, but let it slide. As she poked his side, however, he jumped a bit, moving just a tad away from her poking. He noticed Mello with the weird guy, too, but he wasn't quite as curious at the moment- at least, not about the blonde.

  • Layla made it to the bench and took a seat. Luckily there were three benches didn't have to sit next to Mello. She pulled her knees up to her chest and waited quietly, her arms trembling slightly. The teen all of a sudden hot super nervous, she glanced up at Sakura. Mainly feeling scared for her.

Kiki sat next to Sakura wherever she sat.
