Ever since I was little, I've loved pokemon, I used to fantasize about being a trainer with the perfect team consisting of all my favorite pokemon. Several times I have considered making a pokemon roleplay here on WCRPG, but I never did because I couldn't think of a way to make it interesting, a way to make it so that the members of the roleplay could have there characters roleplay with others on a regular bases without the whole thing being super repetitive. I recently had an idea for a pokemon roleplay; where instead of the whole thing being based around trainers and their journeys (like so many others), it could be about a city/town, a network of threads that represented different locations with different owners and possibilities.
How it works:
When you create your character you will also be choosing things like do they have a profession, if so what is it, etc. If your character is a shopkeeper for example, you will probably be roleplaying mainly in a thread for the shop they work in. Understand?

Main Town RP Thread: W.I.P
Description: The town this roleplay is based in isn't as big as a city, but it's a good size. It has many places to go, there is a market for people to sell there wares, a main restaurant where everyone goes, and even a pokemon gym, as well as a contest stadium.
Cafe: W.I.P
Description: This is a little cafe, just outside of the town. It is ringed by forest on 4 sides, except for a break in the trees where there is a short path to the town. The cafe is in a field, and in the forest behind it there is a hidden cave system where the combee and vespiquen she gets delicious honey from live. The cave is often guarded by her dear Houndoom who makes it his duty to protect the pokemon in the cave from harm, as well as protect the rare honey from thieves. The cafe itself is small, and only one person other than Nira works there. Just behind the cafe is a section of field surrounded by a fence that protects the pokemon inside from harm. Nira's miltank lives in this field, and in the corner of the field, directly to your right when you walk out the door is a little table with four seats.

Description: This is where trainers can go to battle the gym leader, Blaise, and earn a badge.
Contest Stadium: W.I.P
Description: Contests are held here, and there are several. There is an annual contest held by the town, for residents and visitors alike, as well as other contests.
