Mini intro type thing:
Rosalynn was walking home from school, reading one of her new books that she had just bought moments before. It was in the nonfiction section, but didn't seem to be very realistic, nonetheless she couldn't peel her eyes away from it. The book was about a man named Light, and it took place in Tokyo. According to this book, Light had found a cursed book called 'Death Note' that had been dropped by a Shinigami from the Shinigami world. This cursed book had with power to kill anyone whose name was written in it. There was a catch though, you have to know the persons real first and last name,as well as you have to know the face of your victim. The shinigami who dropped the book,has to follow the writer until the writer dies,and it is the shinigami's job to write the writers name in their death note. So, you can see why Rosalynn thought this was interesting. She had almost gotten done the first 20 chapters when she dripped.
Damn, why am I so clumsy? she thought, and stood up, her eyes widening at the sight before her,she had tripped on a book!But not just any book, as she walked closer, she could see that the title of this book was 'Death Note' she bent down and picked it up.
She sighed."Who ever is behind this, you better come out here before I kick your ass all the way to Italy." She shouted annoyed,when no reply came, she started to look around,for people,or a hidden camera. Her searches were, to her frustration, in vain, for there was no-one around, and everything that was here,was supposed to be here. She opened the book and saw this:

wow, someone must have worked hard on this; too bad they won't come back,guess I'll just have to keep it she thought,a smirk etched into her face. She flipped through the pages,to find everyone plank except for the page with all the rules.
brand new book too, what a shame. she shakes her head,disappointed in the prankster.She stuffed the book,and the book she was reading, into her bag and continued to walk home.

Childhood memory: When she was little, her and her cousins were on a wagon,and had taken turns going down a mini hill. Then one of them thought it would be a good idea to have them all pile in and go down together. They did, and Rosalynn was the only one who didn't get hurt.
Worst memory: Her parents were having a really bad fight,and she had come in begging them to stop,so her dad had hit her. Her dad had been so shocked that he ran off, then the day after, his body was found with multiple stab wounds.
Best memory: Her family was at the beach,and she had challenged her older cousin to a swimming race, she won.
Scariest memory: When she was little,her older neighbors pulled a prank on her and had pretended to have been attacked by a mugger. She had cried,and after that they would all make fun of her.

Real Personality: Adam is undeniably kind and caring. He looks out for Rosalynn like the protective brother she never had. He is loyal to his friends, and is actually quite shy and quiet once you get him alone. Adam has built a wall around him that only a few people have ever broken through.
History: As a kid, Adam was bullied because he was small, and unpopular. When he was 14 he learned that he was bisexual, and he told a friend who he thought he could trust. Then everyone knew, and he was bullied to such an extent that he tried to end his own life. His mom found him unconscious in the bathtub, and they move to Rosette.
Family members: His mom, his father disappeared when Adam was 4.
Childhood memory: Getting thrown in the dumpster by a group of 7th graders.
Worst memory: The day people found out he was bi.
Best memory: the day him and Rosalynn became friends.
Scariest memory: He was cornered in an alley, and a man had tried to snatch his backpack, Adam resisted, and the man had pulled out a switchblade, luckily Rosalynn appeared and knocked the man unconscious with a brick left on the ground.
