    Moonfeather lifted her paw of the wound and started to chew up the last of her marigold she had and applied it the the gashed flank. She then pushed a leaf packet of 8 poppy seeds in front of her "eat these...they stop the pain and give you a good sleep." she mowed rapping cobwebs over the gash and placed it with oak leaves and comfrey.

    Chasmstripe dipped her head at Rowanclaw as he spoke to her.


    "Thank you," the she-cat meowed to him before padding toward the medicine cat den. The blue tabby stuck her head in and her gaze landed on Moonfeather.


    "Anything I can help with?" Chasmstripe asked.

    Moonfeather lifted her head, "i need you guys to git the injured cats in a line so i can git a good amount of cats at a time." "Also i need some silence some of these cats need to rest to regain there strength." "Also i think Pureleaf will stay in my den tonight."

    "Alright," Chasmstripe meowed before padding away from the medicine cat den. "All cats who are injured, please get in a line. Moonfeather will treat you one by one."

    Rowanclaw lifted his head at the order, but knew his wounds were one of the most minor. The tawny warrior could wait as long as he needed to.

    OOC: There was a cougar attack, the cats won, and now they are just recovering from the battle while some of the other cats are out getting herbs.

    Ooc: IceClan was victorious in the battle with the cougars, several more people joined, including those who were already members but made new cats. Currently, Froststar, Flurrystorm, and a few others are out looking for herbs while Pearleaf is in the medicine den, where she will reside for some time.

    Lynxkit followed her mother and talked with her brother. "I can't wait to be an apprentice!" She excitedly mewed.
    Hawkpaw nodded. "Ya! I'm gonna be the best warrior ever!"
    Lynxpaw smiled. "I'm gonna be the best Medicine cat!"
    Hawkpaw looked at her. "But Moonfeather already has an apprentice!" he pointed out.
    Lynxpaw's eyes were on the ground. "*sigh* I know... But I don't like to fight... I need to speak to moonfeather."
    Hawkpaw tiled his head. "Why?"
    Lynxpaw looked at him. "I want to know what being a medicine cat is like!"

    Ic: "I'm fine, doing better then most of the Clan," Rowanclaw told her, smiling softly. His green gaze traveled to her kits, and he chuckled warmly. "Your kits will make fine warriors," he predicted. Turning to the queen, he asked, "How are you faring?"

    Ooc: I was referring to what Chasmstripe (or whoever said so, since I can't remember) ordered about injured cats getting in a line for Moonfeather to check over.

    IC: Chasmstripe just looked around at the cats talking, making sure everyone was okay. She sat down and just waited for her cousin to return.


    OOC: Yes, it was Chasmstripe who made the order.

    Once Froststar had collected enough herbs, she bundled them under her chin and led the way back to camp. She glanced over her shoulder to make sure Flurrystorm was following, then slowed to fall into step beside him. "So..." she mewed. "You seemed quite concerned about Pearleaf earlier."

    "Well, yeah. She's my Clanmate!" Flurrystorm meowed, herbs placed carefully under his chin, "I care for all of my Clanmates!" The blue silver tabby and white tom was careful as he walked, trying not to drop any herbs or crush them by moving too quickly.
