Skypaw woke up and lifted her head. She could tell Puzzlepaw was beside her so she stood up carefully, not wanting to wake him. The smell of the other apprentices was strong and she could hear there steady breathing as she quietly slipped out of the den. She padded through camp, breathing in the cool, crisp air with a soft sigh.
Tinypaw was sleeping soundly next to Redpaw, his short tail twiching in his sleep. He was dreaming that he was hunting a rabbit. Watching it bounce steadily though the snow, its black eyes standing out. His paws moved slightly as he kept forward before springing at it and chasing the creature down.
Dotkit was curled up with her sibling, grateful for their warmth around her as she slept. She smiled softly and shifted, tucking her paws father under her.
Sharpkit snuggled close to her mother, wanting to feel more of her warmth. She gave a soft purr as she breathed out then went steady again.
Leopardkit slept with her back pressed against her mother's, not bothered by the slight cold that nipped at her cover nose.
Ice had curled up not far off from Flightfeather. He wasn't asleep but her certainly looked like it. He listened to the steady breathing of the other cats and the quiet sound to paw steps at Skypaw left her den. He moved his eyes once but didn't move.
