  • Luke's horse galloped out of the castle and into the forest but he quickly pulled his horse to a halt, instead of riding after her, he would go after her on foot. He thought it would be easier to find her if he wasn't making any noise.

  • Jay expertly moved her way through the forest, trying not to make to much noise. She could see her way in the light of the full moon. The farther away she got away from the country road, the safer she would be.

  • He started off in a fast run trying to find her. He stopped for a moment and looked around trying to find anything that would lead him to her. His eyes fixed onto the floor where he spotted her foot prints. He ran off following the footprints.

  • Jay weaved through the trees. She paused for a moment to munch on one of her biscuits. She lent her hearing out into the woods. She finished her biscuit and continued on her way.

  • "Dammit Jay," he muttered under his breath. He had been hit by a few branches causing scratches to appear on his shoulders and chest. But when he saw a small figure running his speed kicked up as he avoided trees, "Katherine!" He yelled out

  • Jay turned when she heard her name called out. She saw Luke running nimbly through the trees, avoiding their branches. She panicked and ran faster as fast as she could go, without looking back.

  • "Oh no you don't!" He muttered. He used his last boost of energy and finally reached her. His hand grabbed a hold of her wrist and he forcefully yanked her back into his bare chest, "And where are you going?" He panted out of breath.

  • Jay pushed herself away from him and tried to yank her wrist free. "I'm going home," she said, catching her breath herself. Though it didn't show, she was terrified by what might happen next. "Let go of me!" She said with feeble courage.

  • His grip tightened around her wrist while his other hand caught ahold of her other wrist, "Stip fighting!" He said loudly. "You will never go back home. That castle is your new home!" He said harshly. "You won't leave! Your mine."

  • Jay cringed from Luke's voice. I'll find a way out of here one day, she promised to herself silently. "I'm not yours, I'm my own person and I will escape from here one day," Jay dared say glowering at him.

  • "You are mine and mine only!" He growled in a low tone, his eyes turned icy and he spoke up again, "You broke the most important rule," he paused then continued, "C'mon, let's get back to the castle. Where I will deal with your punishment,"

  • "Even if I didn't go with you, you'd drag me back," Jay muttered to herself. She followed behind slowly, partly to annoy Luke, partly because she was exhausted. Jay could feel the fatigue all the way to her bones.

  • Luke let out an annoyed groan, "You know if you keep this pace up well be at the castle by... Hmm I don't know... Christmas!!!" He said frustratedly. "Walk faster," he commanded getting behind her and pushing her forwards.

  • Jay stumbled forward, nearly falling over. "Well sorry if me being tired puts a dent in your plans!" She retorted turning to face Luke. She whirled back around and stomped toward the castle at a faster pace.

  • He stood there dumbfounded. No one ever dared to talk back to him, and the act that this girl could do it with such ease was very annoying.. And he had to admit a bit attractive. But then again she did frustrate the hell out of him. When they reached the castle he led her to his quarters where he shut the door and locked it with the two of them in it

  • Jay sat down on the bed with her arms crossed. She glared at the prince but didn't say anything. Then she thought of her biscuits and pulled them out, taking one and biting into it.

  • He opened one of his dresser drawers and pulled out a small wooden plank. "When I was little, and I did something wrong, my father would make me hold out my hands and then he would hit then with a wooden Cain." He said. Then walked towards Jay, "Hold out your hands."

  • Jay looked at him with a look that said seriously? I'm not a child. But she did as she was told only after she had neatly tucked her snack away. She held her hands out, ready to get what was coming to her. This will all be worth it when I escape this treacherous place.

  • He ignored her look and then smacked the wooden plank onto her hands. Once..Twice.. As a third time. When he saw her hand turning bright red he stopped and put the plank away. "Now come on get into bed," he said pulling back the covers for her
