Wolfheart watched Nightpelt and Echoshade talk.Wolfheart ate her meal silently and buried it when she finished.

"Hi Nightpelt!" Echoshade greeted cheerfully. He snatched a plump vole from the fresh kill pile and pushed it towards Nightpelt. "Want any?" he offered.

Wolfheart layed down across from the warriors and waited for them to finish their meals.

Wolfheart bounded out of camp.She stopped at the entrance and looked around quickly.No one was around.She raced off into the bushes and up the ravine past the river and to the lake.
