Gods thrown into Tartarus; only 8 Greek Demigods left alive (Private)

In Character;; Maddie nodded to the others, minus Hunter and Paige, who had went off somewhere in the forest. "Alright. Remember our ancestors: Percy and Annabeth? Second generation? Well they escaped from Tararus. It was a miracle! Apparently, they escaped through the doors of death, but it is extremely unlikely that the doors will appear down there again. Here, I think I still have the page," she explained, ruffling through her backpack for the crinkled page.

Dani shuffled closer to Maddie as she pulled out a yellowed page. She distinctly recalled the event: Percy, a Greek hero and savior to the gods, and his wife, Annabeth. They had marked history. She casted a glance at Zander. Sleeping. She shook his shoulder with her foot. "Hey, Z, you might want to listen to this," she muttered into her boyfriends ear.

Paige led Hunter away from their temporary camp. Once they were just within the forest greenery,
Hunter turned to face Paige. "So, what was it you wanted to tell me?" he asked slowly, his eyes narrowed in skepticism. Paige had a strange look in her face. Suddenly, his thoughts were altered. He loved Paige. Paige was the most gorgeous person on earth. She opened her mouth. "Will you go out with me?" She asked in a strange, monotone voice. Hunter did not recall himself saying yes.[/fancypost]

In Character;; Maddie casted a sideways glance at Vince, who was reading over her shoulder, and Dani, who was at her other side. She trained her gaze back onto the page. "It doesn't say much about their escape, only that they managed to do it with the help of some Titan named Bob." She frowned. Bob? There was no Titans by the name of Bob. Her eyebrows crinkled, the same way they did every time that Maddie felt there was confusion.

Dani shook Zander's shoulder more vigorously. "Z!" she called, more loudly. "Oops, sorry, didn't mean to interrupt Mads," she apologized. Bob... Dani recalled something about a Titan who... "Oh! Somebody at Camp once told me that there was a Titan, whose name I can't remember, who lost his memory, and was renamed by Percy Jackson under the name Bob," she explained to Maddie, who had perked up. "I know that Titan now! That's Iapetus," she exclaimed happily. "Percy and Annabeth are dead, but I bet that we can talk to Iapetus!" It seemed that the Demigods had come up with something.

Paige smiled at Hunter and nodded. "Oh, yay!" She gave a few small claps. "I'm so glad you said yes," she said, hugging Hunter, who reluctantly hugged her back. Paige blinked at him and kicked her charmspeak into high gear. He would need to be under her spell a lot. She took his hand and proudly began walking back to camp, unaware that Ella had been observing.

Hunter felt as if his sense had been lost. Even though he had overwhelming feelings for Paige, who was the best girlfriend ever, he still had a nagging feeling that something wasn't right. Hunter couldn't focus on anything but Paige, and that definitely wasn't right. They exited the forest, and Hunter let go of Paige's hand. What would the others think?[/fancypost]

In Character;; Maddie nodded to Vince, her eyes scanning the page as Paige and Hunter returned. She hadn't noticed Ella leave as well. "Yes, all of the Titans have been in Tartarus at some time or another. Bob--or, Iapetus, he was supposedly a 'good' Titan. I think being brainwashed by the River sort of changed him. I'll bet he'll give us some answers," she explained, her eyebrows knitting together as she read over the page for the hundredth time.

Dani rolled her eyes at her boyfriend, who had gotten to the point of hopelessness. "Hey, why are we rushing into this? It's not like the Gods are going to die any time soon. They're immortal. But I guess we could go looking for this Iapetus. I don't suppose anyone knows where he's at?" she pointed out, searching her mind for anything she would know about the Titan. Nothing.

Paige waved a hand at the others as she sat back down on the grass--close to Hunter. "Did we miss anything while we were gone? Something about a Titan?" she asked to the others, not exactly sorry that she had missed out on planning. The Demigod pulled out a make-up mirror, holding it to her face so that she could reapply some things, and brushing her hair.

Hunter was still in a daze. Even though he felt that the strange force had gone, he still loved Paige. The same thoughts that had been put into his mind into the forest were still there. But nonetheless, he closed the gap between himself and Paige. "I'm thinking the same. All I heard was 'Bob'," he said. Maddie quickly explained what they'd discussed, with Hunter nodding along as she went.[/fancypost]

In Character;; Paige was SLEEPING.

Dani was SLEEPING.

Hunter, who had been fast asleep, and had been dreaming of an old carnival rollercoaster that he used to love, heard a distance voice calling his name. "Hunter?" it called. At first, he wasn't sure whether or not it was just his imagination, or if it was coming from outside of his tent, but he opened an eye, seeing Ella just outside his tent. "No, El, I'm asleep," he answered sarcastically. "Whatever, you can come in." Hunter sat up in his sleeping back, fixing his t-shirt as Ella came inside, distressed and urgent-looking.

Maddie had been reading over a page about Iapetus on her tablet, before she heard somebody outside her tent. At first, she thought that it was Vince. Broad shoulders, well-trimmed hair, a deeper voice... but it wasn't Vince. This person was wearing a cap, backwards, which Vince would never do. Who was it? Hunter? No, if Hunter was still awake, it was because he wanted to prank somebody, and he would've done it by now. It definitely wasn't a girl. Theo was too small to be this person, while Zander, he had a distinctive voice--a surfer's voice. This was no surfer. She turned off her tablet, placing it underneath her pillow, before crawling to the flap of her tent. "Hello?" she replied, pushing away the flap. This was a stranger, someone she did not know. A boy, tall and lean, yet muscular. Handsome.

In Character;; Hunter felt a bit taken aback by Ella's question. How did he feel about Paige? That was a good question. His immediate feelings told him: Yes. He did like Paige. More than anything else in the world. But the more he thought about it... the more he felt that those feelings weren't real, they were forced... "Well, we're dating, so what do you expect?" he answered simply, not wanting to give anything away.

Maddie looked to the stranger, then down to his hand. She took it. His hand was strong, callused a bit, but strong. "Maddie," she answered. "What brings you to this camp?" she asked, her curious Athenian mind bringing up hundreds of questions. She held them in. [/fancypost]

In Character;; Hunter blinked slowly before nodding. "I know," he answered simply. Hunter looked at Ella, who was fidgeting uncomfortably. Why was she so concerned about Aphrodite? Was it because he was dating Paige?

Maddie thought about the situation and shook her head. "No, there would be no point in you leaving now. You're a demigod aren't you. Ares, if I guessed correctly. You know, our little camp here... there's only 8 of us left. 9 now, including you. It wouldn't make sense to send you away. You can stay, just, er, stay in my tent until we can get a spare," she explained to Jace, who she had analyzed very quickly.[/fancypost]

In Character;; The more Ella said, the more Hunter's smile turned to a frown. "El, are you sure you saw right? I'm positive that Paige wouldn't do that," he explained, trying to convince Ella she'd heard wrong. But really, he was trying to convince himself. He HAD been feeling strange when he had talked to his girlfriend in the forest...

Maddie nodded with a small smile, sensing Jace's awkwardness. "You bet. The last one left. Well," she paused, unsure of whether to reveal their plans to the newcomer. "If we let out the Gods... You can be sure we won't be the last Demigods. That is, if we let out the Gods. If," she stated blankly, not meeting Jaces eyes.[/fancypost]

In Character;; As soon as the paper was presented to her, Maddie's head snapped up. "Where'd you find this?" she exclaimed, unfolding the yellowed page. She immediately pulled out her own page, and fitted the two together. A perfect match. Her eyes widened; she had the entire article now! Maddie immediately launched into reading the second page, having forgotten that someone else was in her tent.

Hunter watched Ella leave. She was right, she'd never lied to him before. So why would she have reason to lie now? As a son of Hermes, the god of thieves, Hunter could detect lies like nobodies business, and he was quite good at them himself. He had heard a lie, not from Ella, but from himself. He hadn't been entirely truthful when he claimed that Paige wouldn't charmspeak him. Of course she would do that. She's Aphrodite. "Wait, Ella!" he called back.

Dani could hear a distant voice. "Dani?" It was Zander. She blinked open her eyes, rubbing them before sitting up in her sleeping back. "What is it, Z. You do know that it's something like 2 in the morning? I thought you were tired," she muttered to her boyfriend, who's silhouette she could see outside her tent. [/fancypost]

In Character;; Hunter looked at Ella. "I'm sorry, El," he apologized. "You're right, I'll talk to her in the morning." He suddenly stood up out of his sleeping bag, and rushed over to hug Ella. It was a bit awkward, but Hunter pulled her in for a bear hug. Had Ella not told him what she did... he would be under total influence of Paige. That wasn't good. She could've dragged him along shopping or something.

Dani sighed and patted the spot next to her. "Come here, you big baby," she teased at Zander. He usually came into her tent like that, with a "nightmare".

Maddie set down the paper and looked at Jace with a frown. She didn't think she could wait until morning. "You know what, you can sleep. I have to go wake the others. We probably have to talk about some stuff, so in the meantime, you rest in my sleeping bag. I don't mind," she explained before exiting her tent.
