Sky was still bleeding, and she was slowly becoming a deathly pale color. Her breathing was shallow. She fought to become conscious again, but she was too weak, along with her two friends who have drained their powers.

Gritting her teeth in slight annoyance and placing her right hand over the deep cut on Sky's arm Cynthia used her left hand to dig around in her pocket for her ambrosia stores. She had placed a charm on her pockets to make them larger them they apeared, she stuffed her entire arm into her pocket, so that probably looked pretty interesting. The daughter of Hades could sense that Sky was growing dangerously close to death, she could feel her life force ebbing even over all the noise that was getting louder and louder. It wasn't quite noise, it was dead silent if you ignored the heavy breathing all around (that she suspected was probably her) But her senses were cluttered, like listening for a pin drop in a room filled of chatter. She found her one canister of nectar and one of three squares of ambosia, immidietly pouring the nextar on Sky's cut. Cynthia was somewhat annoyed about how rushed things were, yea, what happened was innevitable but if Cynthia got there first then she figured that she could have raised some dead warriors and shoot the telekhines from the beach and Kian could have flown over and grabbed Sky. Done. Simple. Sky would not have gotten to such a critical condition because she would have gotten medical attention faster. Cynthia could feel her heart pounding, and she could tell that she was panicing, even though her rational side was telling her to calm down she hated death. If she could do anything she would do everything to prevent a death. She placed a square of ambrosia in Sky's hand and tossed another over to Kian, keeping silent and keeping her face blank.

believe in the breeze
the smokey morning hazethere was no way kian would stay passively by, as sky faded before him. there was something inexplicable between the three. for the son of zeus, this certain something, whatever it was, was almost palpable. think kian think.. the boy wracked the strategic part of his head, desperate for any solution whatsoever. it didn't seem like the nectar and ambrosia were doing much good anymore. they could only heal so much, before it reached the stage of an unlikely return.
then it came to him, realisation striking like a brick wall. he'd never seen it done before, heck he wasn't even completely sure it was true, but he had to try it. desperate times call for desperate measures after all.
he straightened, on his knees now, and wedged his hands between sky's back and cynthia's back, taking the daughter of poseidon in his iron grip. they were only a few metres off the shore, but for this to work, kian expected that sky actually had to come in contact with water. closing the small gap between them and the lapping tides, he gently lowered sky, allowing her feet to submerge first before letting her down completely. this far in, the tides were just enough to level with sky's ears when swashing.
anticipation almost swallowed kian whole, as he waited for something to happen. anything.just before all seemed lost, a faint bluish-green hue began seeping through the parts of sky that were immersed in water. he could just imagine the water creeping up sky's body, locating the wound. poseidon was healing his daughter.
{so sorry guys, i've been so busy!}
the sun on her face
and the touch of lovers' hands -
The water crept up Sky's body to where the wounds were located. It was like magic. The water, a silver color, washed over her wounds and closed them almost immediately. Right once they were closed, Sky burst to life, gasping like a fish out of water. "Sooooo, not a dream, right?" She said after she caught her breath. Sky looked at where her wounds were supposed to be and her eyes grew wide. She touched it and noticed that they were fully healed. "How!?!" She asked surprised.

That makes a lot of sence... Cynthia thought, wondering why they didn't bring her to the water before, why didnt she remember that. A smile flickered on her face for a moment regardless, feeling the stress from before leave- for the most part. "Remember that part about being a daughter of Poesidon?" She said, leaning back on her palms against the white sand. Glad she's alright but...
-
"Uhh. Yeah. Trying to forget that part." Sky leaned back onto the sand and sighed very loudly. Sky looked up at the sky, thanking who ever was watching out for her up there. "We should probs get back to horse dude." She flung herself off the ground and headed back in the direction of the camp.
(Hehe Sky looked at the sky. two skies. Also sorry for the long wait. Im grounded...so im sneaking this...because my grades suck soooooo it might take a while for me to reply to stuff. BAI!)

Kian admired how nonchalantly Sky seemed to be just moments after what some would call a near-death experience. It was quite amusing actually, and the son of Zeus found himself chuckling inwardly as the trio slowly neared the house again.
"Why would you want to forget that you're a child of one of the most powerful Greek Gods?", he just couldn't wrap his head around the concept of someone not particularly liking their godly heritage. -
"I can think of three good reasons," She muttered under her breath, standing up and streatching. She would give anything to sleep right now. She decided not to ruin the moment and talk about the few advantages and many downfalls to being a demigod from any of the big three, leave Chiron to that. "We should get going back to camp, then Sky could have a nice long chat with Chiron," she said, pushing a strand of her hair behind her ears. Cynthia wanted to get back to camp, she didn't want to stick around at thw moment, something was still just so off.
(Good luck xD)

"Fun. Talking to a half-horse dude and I can control water. What a surprise." Sky mumbled under her breath sarcastically. "Yeah. Well, first of all. I almost was eaten by a three giant sharks. And I have always been alone Even if he was my father, he's not a good one at that. So I'd rather have no father, than one that would let my mother die and leave me alone." I gritted my teeth at the last sentence. I now felt a bit of hatred against the god, but who cares. It won't do me any good. He's a god for Christ's sake.
(Another sneak one. Sorry.)
-
Kian's sigh came melodramatic and very drawn out. He couldn't leave all the explaining to Chiron, listening to Sky go on about how Poseidon is a bad Father and that he was nowhere to be seen when her Mother died and she was left an orphan, all that was sad, yes, but it happened to a lot of other demigods. "Sky, the Gods aren't allowed to come into contact with their mortal partners and demigod children. It's not your Dad's fault he couldn't come help you. Come to think of it.. it's mine.." Kian almost scoffed with indignation when he realised that the reason all demigods felt abandoned by their Godly parents, was because his Father set the law in the first place. Part of him would always feel betrayed, but he understood that it was for the best.
-
"The Gods most likey have bigger things to do than to micro manage their children, they're GODS obviously. We have a different idea of what a father is from the Gods. Poesidon and Hades got eaten by Kronus, their Dad because he feared their power, and then Zeus, also a son of Kronos, chopped him up to little bits and sent him to Tartarus, aka, Hell. We arent their first nor last children, why would we be any different, from any other Demigod. "Cynthia said, taking a breath, she wanted to throw in her two cents. She did understand the feeling, of being abandoned and feeling unwanted and all that stuff but she didn't care. "Besides, cursing them wont do anything, accept it and move, what can you do about it? Its rare that a demigod never experiences hardship, its not unheard of." She said, there wasnt any spite in her words but a scowl had flickered on her face as she spoke, annoyed but also understanding of her 'woe is me' story.
-
"Thanks for the 'make me feel better' talk. It really helped." I stated sarcastically. Wow. Somebody has a happy attitude. I walked a little faster, breaking away from the other two.
(Probably won't reply for a long while. Sorry!)
-
"Pardon me for not being good at this kind of stuff, but you need to accept it because if you don't, you really will be dead," Cynthia said, in a expressionless tone now. Her pace quickened slightly but she still kept a cirtain distance between the herself and Sky. Well, she really did suck at this kind of thing, but how else does someone say it. She probably wasnt as gental as she wanted to be, her patience was currently pretty low being as tired as she was, shadow travel still took a lot out of her.
-
"Alright give it a rest both of you, we didn't go through what we just did to tear each other apart ourselves..", Kian demanded, authority clearly sounding in his voice. He was the son of Zeus, true and true, the son of the Olympian king. It was almost in his blood to assume the leadership role and stop whatever brawling took place between his friends. It was slightly ironic, he thought, as he came between the two girls. They themselves were arguing, and he was almost certain that up on Mt Olympus, their parents were doing the exact same thing.
-
Cynthia opened her mouth for a moment to make a sharp retort then closed it with a faint sigh, her eye twitched slightly though. Well, he's right, and it is a pretty petty discussion she thought, though, a part of her wanted to keep the conversation going on, however, and another part, a very small part of her, just wanted to leave. The Big House was coming into sight and she realized how far they had ran to get to the beach. Her weapons were now two swords strapped to her back and her clothes were still wet.
